A nice place to stay for a good price. Downtown is a little ways away and most parts of the city are easily accessible. Clean rooms, nice staff.

Portraits of some of Austin's many musicians -- from Willie to Jimmy Vaughn -- adorn the hallway walls. It's the greenest hotel I've known in Austin, using energy control key cards for environmentally conscious travelers and some water reuse. It had a large coffee shop and cafe and a nice little bar. The fitness center is larger than those in most hotels. The pool is nicely flanked by executive poolside suites.

This is in an excellent location with downtown just up the road and getting to the airport is a breeze. In the lobby, they do a great job of keeping up with the local “music capital of the world” theme, displaying large portraits and bios of famous musicians who have played in Austin. There’s a nice on-site bar, restaurant and Starbucks decorated with the common rustic theme you’ll find in Austin. There are little work booths and rooms as well, so you have different options of scenery for where you work or the privacy you desire. The gym is huge in it’s own separate building that faces the outdoor pool. Also along the outdoor pool are individual private suites you can utilize for longer stays or a more private experience. For the location, amenities and quality, the price is great!

The Wyndham Garden Hotel offers more than the standard three-star accouterments of an average central city accommodation. Beyond comfortable rooms, free WiFi and services like dry cleaning and outdoor pool, there is also a spacious, Texas-themed lobby, Starbucks coffee shop and restaurant specializing in gourmet hamburgers. It's also a wonderful option for pet owners. The Wyndham allows pets, unlike most other centrally located Austin hotels.

This hotel is located in an up-and-coming part of town, providing quick and easy access to downtown, as well as the airport. The property is well maintained, and provides what you would expect from 3-star accommodations.
