The best gallery in Berlin! Or maybe even in Europe! It's not very different from usual museums (like Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and etc.) but collection is vast and has paintings not only from German painters but others too. The whole museum is very well-maintained, clean, cool and since it wasn't the high season - not crowded at all! Entrance for an adult is pretty big (~10-15 EUR) but everyone up to 18 years of age can enjoy it free of charge!
Actually I'm not quite sure what's this palace is used for. It's in Potsdam and we walked a long way from Potsdam palace in a rainy day and finally saw it
its mostly sculptures and paintings from the 19th century. A very nice collection, and well displayed. Enough to see for 1 to 1.5 hours.
It's filled with beautiful art and worth checking into...if you're a broke student, this gallery (and many of the other galleries) have a discounted door price. If you're just broke and have a student ID, they take it no questions.
