Il problema è che se si tenta loro musubi lo spam, non sarai mai godere di un altro qualsiasi altra parte del mondo.

I never realized that there were so many varieties of musubi. There is an amazing selection here and the spam misubi is quite delicious. I also loved the chicken karage. For the misubi, I tried spam/bacon/avocado (delicious) and the spam and kimchi (good, but the kimchi had way too much fish sauce for a part of a handheld food).

Restaurant is tiny and a bit of a blink and you miss it spot, so keep and eye out when you search for it. Good for quick cheap eats.

One of the things Hawaiʻi is known for is our love for spam. Spam musubis are the perfect on the go snack for everyone. Not only are they convenient and cheap, but they're small enough to stick in your pocket or purse. They're actually super simple to make yourself, but if you want some that are already-made, you don't have to go looking far. They're sold in convenience marts, but if you want a bunch of different options, check out the Musubi Cafe in Waikīkī. The shop is located on the ground floor in a hotel.

Seems counter productive but after a 6 mile run, stopped here and grabbed a spam musubi, somen salad, and papaya for breakfast.

Located a few blocks from where we were staying, this convenient hole in the wall musubi stop made it extremely easy for us to "pack lunch" for the beach. With such a large variety of musubi to choose from, we didn't have to eat the same ones day in and day out. Whats not to love there? Spam...good. Rice...good. A mixture of roe, cucumber or egg...even better!

All I know is that these are way better than any other musubi you can find at 7eleven or ABC stores. And the little old ladies who run the shop are as adorable and authentic as they come.

Musubi Cafe Iyasume is the cutest little restaurant that serves a large variety of musubis right in Waikiki…although a bit hidden, it is not hard to find. They are opened early for breakfast (spam egg and cheese musubi anyone?) but most come here to grab to go and enjoy the musubis on the beach.

I miss this place so much! I came here nearly every day during my stay in Waikiki. In fact, on Day 1, I came here TWICE!! I was just in love with their salmon rice balls. They were my absolutely favorite and I kept getting them.

I am gonna be honest. I wasn't a huge fan of the spam musubi bc in general I don't really like the taste of spam. BUT...I did like that thus place had a spam musubi with SHISO LEAVES! I love that stuff so of course I had to get it. It was pretty enjoyable and there wasn't too much rice like on the spam musubis you'd find at Foodland or 7-11.

Be prepared to wait in a line at this place. Even though it is kind of hard to locate, people will still trek from all over the island to try this famous place out. There are only enough seats for maybe 4 people max so be prepared to get the food to-go and eat it across the street at the Hyatt or somewhere on the beach.

Hard to find, in a random side street across the street from the massive Hyatt hotel, this tiny cafe sells various musubi, made fresh daily.

The musubi here CANNOT BE BEAT. They are AMAZING. I HAVE TO TYPE IN CAPITAL LETTERS, THEY ARE THAT AWESOME. Run, don't walk to this place and cram every open space in your stomach with musubi euphoria.

It's sooooo hard to find this hidden gem! Wow, the spam musubi is amazing here. It's just a block or two off the main strip downtown and it's a little hole in the wall. You definitely need to check it out if you are a musubi lover like me.

I absolutely love this place! Its a small japanese restaurant located in a tiny alley that could be easily missed if you don't look carefully. I ordered the salmon with spicy roe matsubi and I fell in love instantly! The matsubis are made fresh and are pretty big and filing! I was full after a bowl of miso soup and two matsubis after starving from my hike up Diamondhead. The spam, bacon, and egg matsubi was also pretty good but I prefer the ones without spam. The prices are around $2-$3 for a decent sized matsubi.

cute little quaint japanese musubi cafe in the back alleys of waikiki. they have very reasonably priced musubis and bento boxes that are made fresh to order. each musubi is less than $2. who says you have to spend a fortune eating good and fresh japanese food in waikiki!

We got the musubi with spicy cod roe and salmon. I really liked the spicy cod roe, not too salty for my taste. This is a pretty quick and cheap snack before or after you head to Waikiki Beach. It is basically a block away from the beach! You can just get it, head to the beach, chill and enjoy.
