The Reach, A Waldorf Astoria Resort

This fun, funky property has plenty of fun activities. The private beach happens to be the only natural sand beach in Key West (the rest are manmade.) They rent out jetskis and paddleboards. There’s a decent-sized pool, and a games area, including a giant chessboard with pieces as large as a ten-year-old child. I had a decent meal at the restaurant on site, Spencer’s by the Sea, but there are better restaurants and bars just a few blocks away. The ocean views are spectacular. The décor is classical and slightly masculine, colored with creams and dark wood. This resort sits on the quiet end of Key West’s tourist district, so I’d recommend renting a bike if you want to head to the downtown bars and museums or visit the city’s state park or public beaches.

We had a great time at The Reach. The private beach was amazing, it's quite close to Duval street. We only stayed a couple of nights but wished we could have stayed longer. I'd definitely recommend it!

Great location right by Duval street. The best part about this place was that it included full access to its sister resort, Casa Marina, which has an awesome breakfast and 2 nice pools.
