This is still one of my favorite (probably THE best) Hot springs in this country. They found the perfect way to get the natural feel combined with luxury. The food is nice and you can get packages of around $80 per person, its worth the extra.

Great experience. Hot springs and the fun of hot water head to toe - truly unique experience.

The story is the one of a nature lover that became a legend in Arenal.Tabacon is set on more than 900 acres of lush tropical reserve, home to Costa Rica’s largest network of naturally flowing hot springs. Tabacon offers 103 luxurious guest rooms and suites; two restaurants; four bars and a world-class spa.

This place is a Must to see while in Costa Rica! If u don't stay here at least one night, u have to bathe in the Hot Springs which is a must! The Hot, natural waterfalls are energizing and the gardens are well maintained.

This Hot Springs offers pool and pool of Thermal Experience as well as an amazing Spa.

This was a very pleasant resort situated near the base of Arenal Volcano. Our room had a wonderful view of the volcano and there were many thermal spas to soak in at a variety of temperatures and environments - some more private than others. The resort grounds and surrounding area were also quite nice with wild banana trees and rainforest animals. This resort was close to the small town of La Fortuna which had a wonderful selection of restaurants, each of which was preferable to the resort's dining options in terms of price. We spent 3 days here and left with fond memories of our time at Tabacon.

Tabacon is expensive to get into but an absolutely lovely hot springs experience if you can manage it.

An amazing, epic experience. If you can afford it, you can stay here. Otherwise, go hike the volcano during the day, and then come here in the evening for drinks and to soak in the natural hot springs. They are heated by the volcano itself, and guided into natural rock pools strewn throughout the jungle where you can go and sit and watch the red lava flow out of the volcano (on a clear night and the reason to go at night). You also stumble upon little bars set up around the area. Perfect spot, really cool.
