Really cool looking hotel, but the longer I started certain things just felt off. Certain lights didn't work, the ac was really loud too. Overall an interesting place, but things could be done better.
Located in the center of downtown Minneapolis, this upscale hotel fills an entire quadrant of the IDS center, Minnesota’s tallest building. This makes dining and shopping a breeze—get your caffeine fix at Starbucks, enjoy a delicious pizza at Cosi, cool off with a smoothie from Soli, or treat yourself to happy hour (4 to 6) at the Marq VII lounge or delicious American fusion fare at Basil, both on the ground floor of the hotel. If it’s shopping you seek, the IDS contains Banana Republic, Gap, Godiva, a convenience store and lots more. You can also hop outside the hotel onto Nicollet Mall, a pedestrian street with lots of good food and shopping.
The hotel itself is classy and comfortable and some rooms were made for royalty. Access the pool and fitness facility at the nearby YMCA compliments of the Marquette. This hotel does a good job meeting the needs of both the business and leisure travelers.
