porto Pristine (per non parlare di città) che mette spot minori per confondere con l'azzurro delle sue acque e poshness dei suoi yacht.

St Tropez is worth a visit but the best way to get there in peak season is a 15 minute ferry ride from St Maxime. The road down to St Tropez is very often busy and you will be sitting in alot of traffic. The port itself is very beautiful with a wonderful Saturday morning market.

If you really want to go to Saint Tropez, go just to have been there. But if you do have limited time on the Riviera, I would prefer to go for example by bus, train or car to Monaco or Nice. If you would like to experience one beautiful little village I would definitely recommend Villefranche-sur-Mer.

A good way to get there by catching a boat at St Raphael or St Maxime.
There's nothing like approaching St Tropez from the sea.
It's a beautiful place with lots going on. Wandering along the quay looking at the luxury yachts, having a coffee at the many bars (rather expensive!) - but then, anybody whose anybody has had a drink at 'La Gorille'! Or perhaps having a reasonably priced meal (there's a lot of competition). at night there are lots of entertainers strolling along the quay.

visit the charming port of St Tropez, have a coffee or cocktail watching the super yachts dock after a day at the Pampelone Beach.

Very nice to visit.
Take the ferry from St. Maxime ( info in the book in the villa).
By car it takes hours and hours, there is only one road, always very slow traffic because of the enormous queues...

Quite a long drive but ferries from Cannes, St Raphael and other nearby ports are an easier way of getting there. The ferries do get busy though and it may be worth booking one. St Tropez is expensive for meals out.

Who can't love St Tropez but it's busy in the summer so if you're going we suggest you drive to St Maxime and park in the Port car park and take the boat across. Much lovelier and you won't spend all day in a traffic jam either.

SAINT-TROPEZ PROVENCE-ALPES-COTE d’AZUR
Saint-Tropez is a town on the French Riviera in the Var department in the Provence-Alp-Cote d’Azur region in south-eastern France.
Once it was a military stronghold and an unassuming fishing village until the beginning of the 20th century. After WWII it became an internationally known seaside resort, renowned principally because of the influx of artists of the French New Wave in cinema. Later and still is a resort for the European and American Jet Set and a goal for tourists in search of a little Provençal authenticity and an occasional celebrity sighting and their Yachts in the Saint-Tropez harbour.
