5/5 Stars – A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Shkodra!
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs, offering tips on where to go, arranging transport, and always smiling. Breakfast was delicious and served with care, and the overall atmosphere was cozy, elegant, and welcoming.
If you're visiting Shkodra, Hotel Dirista is the perfect choice—whether for a short stay or a longer retreat. Highly recommended. I will definitely be coming back!

Lovely hotel in central Shkoder.
The rooms are spacious and neatly furnished with sofa bed and fridge but unfortunately have no windows where you can look out. Unfortunately there is no possibility to make coffee/tea. The bathroom/toilet is large and clean and the beds are spacious and sleep super. Sitting on the sofa bed was less comfortable.
The car can be parked in an underground garage (which opens directly onto the street) but it takes a lot of patience to turn the car there because it is very tight. When leaving the garage you have to watch out for the pedestrians.
The hotel is located in the middle of the city a short distance from the pedestrian shopping centre with numerous bars and restaurants.
The breakfast is great so you can start the day with a filled belly,
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Even when the light went out for several hours, the lady at reception was ready to buy us a drink in the room where we normally have breakfast (here was emergency lighting).

It’s ok close to town
Breakfast was ok. Close to restaurants.
The hotel has no restaurant or bar.
Nobody to help with luggage. You are on your own. Nobody at front desk to check out. Confusion as to when breakfast starts.

Little minions
You enter the hotel via a high staircase where you enter the reception through the beautifully decorated hall. We were a bit early, so we had to come back at 2pm to check in.
The rooms are very nicely decorated and look very luxurious.
Small minuses are; that despite the windows you can not see outside, that the bell of the reception in the room is clearly audible and that the mattress of the bed on the left side was somewhat heroic, which made it look like you fell out of bed.
The shower was again very pleasant and the wifi was good.
The breakfast we found well cared for and tasty.
Parking is free in the private parking garage near the hotel.
Definitely I would book this hotel again on a next visit, with the hope that the above mentioned dots are resolved so that I can also rate them with the 5th star.
