Enhancing the quality of the service

Very disappointing experience that deserves to be reported.
Before our arrival, we had communicated our approximate check-in time and offered to pay for the entire stay in advance to guarantee our reservation. This proposal was refused, with the staff informing us that payment would simply be made upon our arrival.
Upon our arrival, however, we were informed that our reservation had been canceled and that the hotel was full. A few minutes later, after insisting and asking for explanations, three rooms were finally assigned to us. This situation remained totally incomprehensible and generated unnecessary stress.
Beyond this incident, we were particularly disappointed by the attitude of the reception staff. The lack of listening, empathy, and professionalism does not correspond to the level of service one has the right to expect from an establishment bearing the Hyatt Regency name.
Finally, traveling as a family with children, we were not able to enjoy the terrace peacefully. Many people were consuming alcohol there in the immediate vicinity of families and young children, which did not correspond to the calm and friendly environment we were looking for.
Finally, given the particularly high price of the rooms as well as the buffet, we believe that the services offered are absolutely not up to the price paid. The value for money is, in our experience, very disappointing and far from the standards one can legitimately expect from an establishment of this category.
I specify that this review reflects only our personal experience. I sincerely hope that management will take these remarks into consideration in order to improve the quality of the welcome, communication, and services offered to its future guests.

Very pleasant family stay
The team perfectly fulfilled all my special requests: room with an additional sofa bed and a portable crib. We also had the pleasant surprise of finding a thoughtful gesture upon our arrival: rose petals, small traditional Algerian cookies, as well as a nice welcome note from the team and the manager, Mr. Akli. A big thank you to them for this warm welcome.
It is now my must-visit stop on every trip to Algeria.
The dining is also excellent, whether it's breakfast, dinner, or room service, with a special mention for the DZ sandwich/burger, which is truly delicious.
The indoor pool is clean, well-maintained, accessible all year round until 9 p.m., and has all the necessary amenities (including a hammam).
Honestly, nothing to complain about. I recommend this hotel without hesitation.
Quick tip: remember to sign up for free for the Hyatt Member loyalty program, which allows you to take advantage of better rates and pay with an Algerian card like Dahabiya or CIB.
