The Riyadh St. Regis is a Gem
Breakfast in the Sky Lounge is among the finest I have experienced in the Gulf. The selection is extensive and of the highest quality, the dining area is airy and refined, and the overall setting is exceptionally pleasant.
What truly distinguishes the St. Regis, however, is its staff. From the moment of my arrival, their courtesy, efficiency, and warmth were consistently impressive. Many hotels aspire to this standard, but achieving it across so many areas says a great deal about the people the hotel recruits: individuals who are genuinely interested in meeting guests from around the world and creating memorable experiences for them.
It is almost unfair to single out only a few members of such an accomplished team, but several deserve special recognition. The two Saudi women at reception welcomed me warmly and, in response to my questions, spoke with enthusiasm and pride about the Kingdom and the importance of their role in welcoming the world to Riyadh. Bushra and Ahmed in the restaurant managed breakfast with such crisp efficiency and warmth that I remained for a second—and then a third—cup of coffee. Karma attended to my room with equal efficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
Each performed to the highest standards of hospitality. Without ever being intrusive, they were warm, attentive, efficient, and thoroughly professional. The staff is also notably multinational: those mentioned above represent Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, and Nepal. Every member of the team with whom I interacted spoke excellent English.
I also happened to meet the manager, Mustafa, and expressed my satisfaction with the experience. He spoke of his commitment to ensuring that every guest receives a warm and welcoming experience. It is clear that this outlook is shared throughout the hotel, which speaks volumes about the quality of its leadership.
The St. Regis Riyadh is a superb example of why Saudi Arabia continues to earn a growing reputation as a leading destination for both business and tourism.

I also had the Re-Energising Massage, which was absolutely wonderful and left me feeling completely refreshed. I would definitely recommend staying here—I can’t wait to visit again!
