We just stayed one night. Defenetly great for what we wanted. The common area looked great and new refurbished. The room was functional but quite old but still in ok conditions

Big Mistake to choose this 1/2 star Hotel

I left the hotel with bug bites on both legs.
The bathroom was extremely small, and the air conditioning only cooled one room. The other room remained hot and humid, with the AC functioning on fan mode only.
At breakfast, there was no ice available for some reason, so the food left out wasn't kept fresh—cheese was melting on the plate. Strangely, there were no eggs offered, which is unusual for a basic breakfast.
Online images completely misrepresent the reality of this hotel. Don't be fooled
Avoid this hotel at all costs. It barely meets the standards of a half-star property.

Budget hotel with basic accommodations. 4 of 5 rating seems generous

This is an old, low cost hotel with very basic rooms.
Positives: clean, newer bathroom. Has a safe and fairly large closet. Staff were helpful. Central location near the square with the cathedral, museums and casino.
Negatives: Air conditioner has 2 settings, on or off and no fan speed control. AC vent blasts one side of the bed so had to turn it off at night and room got hot.
There were is no deadbolt or chain on the door.
No hot food in the free breakfast.
Alvarado is a busy street, rooms on the street side are noisy.

Fleeting night in Salta. ..

Spend a night for work in Salta. Not that it's a bad hotel, but it's a little dated. It is well maintained and very very clean as well as tidy. The team of people is great. Friendly, attentive and very diligent. The heating was very low, and the hot water was also a little weak. Comfort is very good, and I stress the cleanliness and order. ‍♂️

All half mean

Price quality is satisfactory, the attention of the staff depends on who touches you, the worst is that you order an espresso coffee at breakfast, which I usually pay for separately. The answer from the breakfast manager, of course, was that it was not included, when I told him that I paid for it separately, he replied that you could not. Besides, the hot water and very finite lousy towels did not come out well.
