Away from the madness of Surfers Paradise

Excellent resort complex, Units are extra large with all the facilities you need, Easy walk to a major shopping centre if you choose to cook for yourself, Cafe's and restaurants at Benowa Shopping centre. Reception staff very helpful. Lovely subtropical gardens and well maintained swimming pools, spa;s and bbq facilities. If you are into golf Royal Pines Golf Course is across the main road. 15 minute drive to Surfers Paradise.

What a disappointment. Their adverts are very misleading!

Location is handy only for events at RACQ when that is too expensive or sold out as its within walking distance. Rooms are clean enough, but bed has to rate as the most uncomfortable as its as soft as a pillow, so if you want no sleep then this is the place to book. Outlook through the windows is horribly claustrophobic (mostly looking into walls just a few meters away) and unit gardens are unkept and totally uninviting, as there is no lawn to walk out on but rather a mess of groundcover. "Heated" pool was cold! Heated spa was covered! Steam room stopped working well before getting to full temperature. Overall, a massive disappointment for the price, so you might as well save plenty and stay in a dorm if you want boring and a crappy bed experience. This place does not feel like a resort at all, it feels like a dated 50's plus village where a few units are available for short term accommodation. Go elsewhere.

We were very disappointed with this accommodation. the blurb states that is luxury accomodation which in reality isn't true. If you aren't there before 4pm you cant book in. The beds are old and mouldy. The air conditioners haven't been cleaned for a long time. Wifi doesn't work at all. There is no dishwasher and very basic cooking facilities. Carpets are sticky and the TV has no streaming but if you have any DVDs you can play those...really? The indoor heated pool was out of order and when we complained they said it was on the web site....we cant find it. For the price it isn't worth it....2 star at best

Gorgeous surroundings but villas very tired

Setting is gorgeous, staff lovely, villa itself very tired indeed - not sure how it’s a 4 star. There was a drain smell in the bathroom, the spa bath just looked grotty, the lounge was in dire need of a clean. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it

Philip on reception was great. House was fine, quite basic and smelled a little musty. Had everything I needed though. Kitchen kitted out and a hot powerful shower. Bit of a pain to get taxis to and from coast area every day so factor that into cost comparison.
