Close to the beach, park and some shops. Pool was nice but a bit cold in winter. Great that they accommodate dogs. Our fur baby was very happy.

Poor cleanliness, not acceptable.Cleaned apartment myself
Stayed for 7 days as a family trip and unfortunately we had a very poor experience. Upon arrival the reception told us that the last guests had left the sliding door open and the carpet got wet and they would bring up a rug to cover the floor area - it didn't arrive. As the night progressed the smell got worse. The next morning we asked to be room moved as the smell we realised was urine covered with some type of cleaning product. We got a room move.... However then in our new room the cleanliness was less than acceptable, to the point that I asked for cleaning products and a vacuum...so that I could clean it properly!. Our child was constantly coughing from the amount of dust and dirt.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. I am genuinely sorry to read about your experience. What you have described is not the standard we expect at Corrigans Cove and I understand how frustrating and disappointing that must have been, especially on a family holiday.
Being advised on arrival about a wet carpet and then not having the promised rug delivered is not acceptable. More importantly, any lingering odour should have triggered immediate action from us, not left you to raise it the following morning. I am pleased we moved you, but clearly that was only a partial solution if the second apartment was not properly prepared.
The fact that you felt you needed to request cleaning products and a vacuum yourself is concerning. No guest should ever feel responsible for cleaning their own accommodation. I am particularly troubled to hear your child was coughing due to dust. That is something we take very seriously.
We encourage our guests to contact reception anytime if the room or service does not meet their expectations. We encourage all guests to contact reception for any assistance and we will deal with it promptly. In your case, we should have stepped in decisively and ensured both rooms were fully inspected and rectified immediately.
I will be reviewing this directly with our housekeeping team to understand how this occurred and to ensure stronger final inspection procedures are in place, especially after any maintenance or moisture issue.

Terrific place to stay, very comfortable accommodation. I only had a little problem checking in as no one was at the desk, and when I called the office they had to dig around for my booking. This is not typical for this property though, it's usually brilliant.

We had a most enjoyable two night stay at Corrigans Cove. Our two bedroom room was large, clean and well maintained. The room had a definite quality feel to it. It was also well equipped with quality kitchen fittings and both a washer and a dryer.
The only fly in the ointment for us being the sound of the air conditioning unit belonging to apartment above us but placed outside our bedroom window.
However this did not prevent us sleeping and we would not hesitate to stay at Corrigans Cove when we are next in Batehaven.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was absolutely huge. We only stayed 2 nights so didn’t require them but we loved that it had a small kitchen, washer & dryer.
