Perfect spot to unwind

We stayed in the Admirals Deck, one of four units in the complex. Perfect spot with a great view. Very clean on arrival and comes with access to bicycles and kayaks. The deck overlooks the Wooli Wooli River and behind the unit it’s about a minutes walk to the beach. Stones throw to the local bowlo. Short walk to the Wooli Wooli Cafe (very good food there). Short drive to the pub which is top level (see separate review). Highly recommend the Admirals Deck for a proper unwind.

Owners and property were fantastic, communicated well through the entire process and were kind enough to send back lost property we had left during our stay.

Coastal Getaways!

Second time we have visited Blue River Apartments and it was just as good as the first! As a family of four, we had the Quarterdeck Apartment which was ideally spaced for us. It had everything we could have asked for, made for easy entertaining and was very relaxing. The location of the apartments are easily located with short walks to beaches, the pub, and river. The kids LOVED the outdoor shower! Cathy and Rod are exceptional hosts and made sure everything was as we needed it to be! Wooli itself is a short distance from Grafton, and is an untouched piece of heaven on the coast - not a lot there, but absolutely stunning!

A nice place but overpriced

This is an older holiday house that has been divided up into 4 apartments. They’re tastefully decorated and very clean. The location is fine beside the river and a short walk to the beach. Wooli is very very quiet with only a bowls club and cafe. The cost however is way too high for a short stay and it’s mainly due to the cleaning fee. Privacy is just OK from the other units (a barking dog in one unit doesn’t help!). Maybe for a long stay but too dear for a night or two.

We are disappointed your stay did not meet your expectations and we would like to add comments on the matters you raised.
We would agree with you, under certain circumstances, booking 1 -2 nights is expensive. The circumstances revolve around the way that guests book and we always recommend booking directly with us for the absolute best rates. The cleaning costs are fixed and seem high for short stays but there are no short cuts on this important aspect of our business.
We are pet friendly but with that comes the responsibility on the pet owners to stop any barking and we are more than willing to hear from other guests and alert the owners if this is not happening. Our welcome email outlines very strict criteria around pets staying and barking/noise.
Blue River Apartments were built in the 1970's as 4 individual apartments. Since we purchased the property in 2016 we have made significant improvements and have more works in the pipeline.
