Was hard to get the room really warm. On entering you smell a horrible cheap air freshener. Neighbours were noisy, barking dog and idling cars in the morning.

It was a lovely little cottage with all the items needed for a comfortable stay.
Unfortunately we were there during incremental weather and there was a power outage in town for a few minutes and n the first night. You’d need to be prepared for this as Strahan does experience power outages during bad storms and strong winds.
That said, it is a lovely town with amazing people. Shops tend to close early too but they have well stocked IGA in town.

Great family accommodation in Strachan, up to date, clean, warm and everything you need. We had three Bungalows and the standard was consistent across all of them highly recommend.

A real gem!
Our stay at the Strahan Bungalows in Strahan, Tasmania was nothing short of fabulous. The bungalows themselves were immaculate—spacious, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed for comfort.
The attention to detail in the accommodation was superb, with a cosy bed, modern amenities, and everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location of Strahan Bungalows was ideal, not far from the waterfront and the gorgeous little town.
One of the best experiences was taking a cruise on the Gordon River, where we marvelled at Tasmania’s pristine wilderness and the ancient Huon pine forests.
Strahan itself is a gem—beautiful scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and plenty to see and do.
Our stay at the Strahan Bungalows left us refreshed and inspired, wishing we could stay longer. If you’re seeking a memorable getaway in Tasmania, this is the place to be.
