Arrived via Train before check-in time & they were happy to store bags. A bonus to arrive at check-in time & they had taken the bags to the room.
Fantastic welcome & check out.
Took the time to ask how was our stay & room.

Terrible motel experience!

We had an extremely disappointing experience at City Gardens Motel in Traralgon.
We provided advance notice that we needed to check out early due to work commitments. Despite this, we were refused any refund for the two unused nights.
The situation was handled poorly, with inconsistent explanations given and, at one point, an accusation that we had left the room in poor condition — which is simply not true.
What stood out most was the attitude. When asking a straightforward question about the business, the manager responded by laughing, which felt dismissive and unprofessional.
Overall, the experience lacked transparency, professionalism, and basic customer care.
We would not stay here again and recommend others consider alternative accommodation options.

Easter Break

The room was clean, neat and tidy. Car parking available onsite, though not all spots are in front of the rooms. Found the beds to be comfortable, not too firm (for me). Relatively quiet. Found the service from the staff to be both friendly and helpful. Room wasn't big, but a good size. Reasonable price for what is offered. Good location.
