Neat and centrally located

The hotel is very central to the center. We had booked with HP. Breakfast and dinner were good. The rooms ( with mountain view ) were clean and spacious, the bathroom rather small.
There is plenty of free parking. One should speak English and/or Czech to talk to the staff .
Overall, we felt comfortable. Value for money is very good

simple, unusual, stylish

well renovated simple hotel in the center / train station, therefore also well suited for cycling travelers who no longer want to tackle monster slopes before the train transfer under the high tauern, with a few nice design ideas, spacious bicycle rooms in former gaststube, room location in the rear part of the building also quiet, view of the high tauern, breakfast only from 8h (!), very good value for money

A comfortable place to stay but…,

A comfortable hotel in Bad Gastein, a good breakfast, free parking and wi-if but there were some details that important to know-
No air conditioning in room (most days AC not essential but in hot days it could be a disadvantage)
The hotel is relatively close to the main road, it could be disturbing for light sleepers
No elevator - we were at the second floor (not a big pleasure to take the valises up…)
Only one of the wall plugs were available in the room (2 if you disconnect the TV), the others, probably, were intentionally disabled by the hotel (look at picture), we had more than 2 devices to charge which made it complicated…

Hostel or hotel?

More of a youth hostel than a hotel. Friendly staff, simple rooms with hot water problems in the early evening hours and sometimes very noisy. The price is a bit high for a standard room of this quality. However, you get a very good breakfast package.

inexpensive hotel in a central location

The room was very modern, but unfortunately there were no Austrian TV channels. A balcony and kettle were also part of the facilities.
The bathroom/toilet was very small, but functional and also very modern.
The breakfast buffet was sufficient and good for us.
We also really liked the bar in the evening, the service was very friendly and the beer was good.
