We had an all-around successful stay at the Hotel Das Kaiserblick and would love to come back. We were thrilled by the fantastic location right from our arrival – with a magnificent view of the Wilder Kaiser, the vacation begins the moment you wake up.
Our room was modern, very clean, and tastefully furnished. The mattress in particular was exceptionally comfortable, so we slept excellently every night.
Culinary-wise, the hotel even exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet is huge and offers everything one could wish for – from fresh bread and pastries to regional sausage and cheese specialties, to fresh fruit, egg dishes, and many other delicacies. Everything was fresh, high-quality, and lovingly presented. The dinner was also excellent – varied, tasteful, and prepared to a high standard.
The entire hotel is very well-maintained and the relaxed atmosphere invites you to feel at home. Anyone looking for relaxation, excellent food, and a fantastic location at the Wilder Kaiser is in exactly the right place here.

Great hotel - unfortunately not recommended due to the owner's behavior.
Actually, the hotel deserved a full score: beautiful rooms, excellent food, rooftop pool, great view, nice staff. Unfortunately, the owner's behavior spoiled the stay. On the first evening, there was live music until about midnight - it was loud and unpleasant in the room on the first floor, but bearable. On the second evening, sleep was again out of the question, as very loud, bass-heavy music was played once more. Just before 2 AM, my husband and I went downstairs, and to our surprise, only the owner couple and a cook were in the bar - not a single guest!! Upon a persistent request to finally turn off the music, the owner gave an unfriendly, confused, and sassy response that today was the song contest (which had actually long been over and the TV was off). We still do not know what that had to do with loud music just before 2 AM, only for the owner couple and the cook from the system. A simple apology would have resolved everything, but scolding guests like that should not happen even at 2 AM. Unacceptable behavior that unfortunately remains a memory of the stay. Massage

Good food, great wellness area, difficulty with problems.
We stayed from Friday to Monday at the Hotel Kaiser Blick in Elmau and would like to describe our experiences objectively.
Basically, we liked the stay in some points: Of particular note are the very good food, the large selection at breakfast and the attractive spa area.
Unfortunately, this positive impression was significantly affected by a significant problem in the bathroom. Already on Saturday morning, a defect occurred on the siphon, which resulted in a leak. The repairs continued throughout the day. However, after the first repair, the siphon was not installed correctly, so there was a strong odor nuisance (fecal odor) in the room. Despite a renewed complaint, the problem was only finally resolved on Sunday afternoon.
During this time, the use of the bathroom and thus the room as a whole was significantly restricted. On the positive side, we were offered another room. However, we felt this was not equal or suitable for us, which is why we rejected the move.
The handling of the situation was particularly disappointing. There was no adequate apology, accommodation or form of reparation. Also at check-out the topic was not taken up again. Especially in a hotel of this category we would have expected a much more professional and hospitable approach.
Overall, the stay therefore leaves a mixed impression: Good performance in gastronomy and wellness is offset by insufficient handling of a significant deficiency.
Note: all bad and negative reviews are correct through all forums! Some points we did not list here and did not experience one.

Staff in every area very, very friendly and accommodating!
Our daughter celebrated her birthday at Kaiserblick, the team played a very big part in making it a wonderful day!
Also the congratulations from Greta and Armin as well as the waiters were very nice, as were the sailing sleigh set table and the gifts!

It all just fit!
