All in all a disappointing stay for a 4 star hotel

The rooms are well equipped, unfortunately the curtains are too translucent and you are woken up very early by the light. Despite rooms facing the street it was well sealed. With us in the 3. At 10 o'clock in the evening, the lights from the exterior lighting shone into the room. When asked at the reception if there were second curtains or you could turn off the lighting earlier, I was put off by the owner. On the second evening on renewed request at the reception, the lights were adjusted by the owner so that they should go out at 10.15 p.m. At 10.30am the lights continued to burn. When I reported this to the reception the next day, I was allowed to make acquaintance with the senior chef. He sat at his desk all the time during the description of my problem with the lamps and I was allowed to communicate with him through the glass pane. His response to the request to switch off the lamps earlier was:" We'll look again today." I did not feel taken seriously with my concern and hardly respected. So in the evening I went back to the reception to ask about the current status regarding the outdoor lamps. The owner explained to me that the set time from the previous evening was unfortunately reset, so they only ran out later. Today it will certainly work. I never received an apology for the circumstances. The beds were very hard. The first night after arrival, as I lay down on the bed, I noticed it was too hard for me. So I went to reception before 10pm and asked if they had a softer bed pad. The senior manager said that it was not possible at this time as the cleaning staff are no longer on site and it was no easy task to embed this. I asked if I could do this alone, as I have seen this several times before. The senior manager explained to me that this is not possible and I can only get a print run tomorrow. So I went back to the room. My partner wouldn’t let up and explained to him a second time that I can’t sleep like this and we only arrived today. After that he agreed to embed the pad for us. I helped him embed. I was just a little smiled at.
The infrastructure is fine. The pool is very small, you can hardly swim in it. Even the water is rather cold if you just bubble. The relaxation room has 4 beds that are very close together in a very small room. The sauna area is fine, it has 2 saunas, 1 steam bath and 1 infrared cabin. In the sauna area it still has 7 sunbeds. It doesn't have a gym. The food was fine too. The dinner menus were rather hearty and not outstanding. Two main courses arrived cold to me. These were warmed by the very nice and courteous serving staff. Salt the soup and the cauliflower in one place dirty and hard. The lactose-free food cooked on request was partly tasteless and at dessert you did not know what you were getting. I would have expected a 4 star hotel to be more responsive to such allergies and to offer alternatives. The afternoon cake was mostly very sweet and rather a small selection. The one piece of cake smelled of meat as if it had been stored next to that.
The breakfast buffet was delicious and had enough choice. The serving staff and also the cleaning staff I can only praise, they have enriched our stay.
The ladies from reception were also nice.

Poor price quality ratio... And no four stars

Hotel Fluchthorn in Galtür is okay, the location is good and the rooms are clean. Unfortunately, the staff was not particularly competent. We didn't like the food that much either, the choice was pretty limited and mostly either not warm or already dried. The prices are much too high in our opinion compared to what you get. There is definitely room for improvement.
