Clean and affordable, bike-friendly
The rooms are simple but absolutely clean and hygienic, everything you need. The location is perfect for cyclists, as it is right on the Danube and you do not have to take detours directly into the city; we did not find the adjacent road disturbing, as there is practically no traffic at night.
The restaurant is highly recommended, especially the cevapi are fantastic, congratulations to the chef! They also offer roast pork every Sunday, unfortunately we were not there then. Breakfast is plentiful; there is no buffet, but an omelet and various other items are served.
Bicycles can be easily and securely charged in the locked courtyard. If I had any suggestion for improvement, it would be that it would be good to have more than one outlet (power strip), but that is easily solvable.
Clear recommendation in Linz for a truly extremely fair price!

Lovely place to stay
The hotel is situated in 20 minutes walk (about 5 minutes by car) from the old town. It is small but rather comfortable and lovely. It reminded our own country house — very simple, clean and cozy.
Small hotel presents have been already waiting for us in the room — that were small «Haribo» sweets. It was such a good sign of attention and hospitality and it really made our day.
The breakfast was traditionally European. Cheese, bacon, milk, bread (the last one is supposed to be home baked but we are not sure) — everything was fresh and tasty.
We were sad to leave the place so quickly, though we have brought home good memories of this family hotel and its service. I am glad to recommend it to everyone.

Nice little guest house
The guests house itself was nice. We were in room 6 which is on the side so the room was nice and quiet but the road was quite quiet even on a Saturday night so not sure you'd get much noise disturbance if you had a river view. The shower was nice and powerful which is a plus for me! The room itself was basic but of a decent size and clean; the Austrian twin was comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. There are quite a few dolls in the corridors which personally I find quite disturbing but I've lived in Austria for a few years now and I've seen them in various places so have had to get used to them!
The guests house is also a restaurant but not open on a Saturday. That means that when we arrived it was closed-fortunately there is a sign saying if you come when the door is locked you should go round to the side door and ring the bell however it's in German so not everyone would be able to understand it!
Breakfast was a standard continental buffet with a selection of bread rolls, hams, cheeses, jams, pates, Nutella, 3 cereals and fruit. Tea and coffee was offered when you came down and served to the table. It wasn't a huge spread but certainly it was more than enough to set us up for the day!
A big plus for us was the parking - 1) that there was a car park on site and 2) the bonus of it being free! When I was looking at other hotels in the city a lot of them in our price range seemed to have an underground nearby to use. As we were only staying overnight I didn't really want to waste time looking for a car park and have to pay €20+ for the privilege! When we checked out we did chance it and drive in as it's free parking on a Sunday and we easily found a space on the main road just before the hauptstadt.
All in all we were pleased and would definitely recommend if you were looking for somewhere to stay for a short break.

A family business that cares about its guests
So whar are the downsides? If you are walking it might seem a long walk ionto Linz, and if you are driving, getting out of the car park requires commitment as it is on a bend and the cars appear round the corner surprisingly sudden. But these are nit picking trivia really, the view of the mighty Danube from the two rooms we have occupied is great, The food in the beer garden is great as well! We'll be back for sure
