perfect

we loved our stay here! it's a pet-friendly hotel, we arrived with a german shepherd. the staff was really kind, my dog even got dog biscuits, and had bowl & a bed/rug for her in the room. the room was spacious and clean, everything was really comfortable. our room was above the railways, thats true, but i didn't find it annoying at all, trains didn't pass by that often, and with the balcony door closed we didn't even hear it that much. also, it didn't pass by during night time. during our stay, their restaurant wasn't open, so we couldn't dine there, but they did serve breakfast, which was 10/10. anything and everything you want, everybody could find what they need, and it was really delicious! for dinner, we went to kaprun (25-30 min walk), where we were able to find various restaurants, but staff is also happy to help in finding the perfect place to eat.
the hotel has a perfect location, with the beautiful mountains being the primary view.
we had an amazing experience, we will definitely come back!

Avoid at all cost (READ THE REVIEW & THE PICS)

Avoid this place – Disgusting and Extremely Noisy
I am beyond disappointed with my stay at this property, especially considering we paid €2,400 for 4 nights. For that price, you expect luxury and basic hygiene, but we received neither.
•⁠ ⁠Filthy Conditions: The entire property was dirty. The hallways had visible stains (likely from pets), and our room was no better. There was thick dust everywhere, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and we even found stains on our pillows and bedding.
•⁠ ⁠Relentless Noise: Our balcony was located directly above train tracks. We heard loud trains every single morning at 7:00 AM and as late as midnight.
•⁠ ⁠Pet Issues: While the hotel is pet-friendly, they clearly don't clean up after them. Beyond the stains in the common areas, the neighbors’ dog barked incessantly day and night through the thin walls.
For the premium price they charge, this experience was a complete rip-off. It felt unhygienic and it was impossible to get any rest. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Excellent choice for stay near Grossglockner High Alpine Road

This is a modern and informal hotel set in a very good location for North end of Grossglockner High Alpine Road. It is also very close to Zell am See so we had a quick look there before driving to the Alpine Road. Plenty of parking available. Our first room overlooked the main road which was noisy but the staff were very accommodating and changed our room. The second room was on the ground floor and had a small terrace, great if you have a dog like us. The room was very large, with a large bathroom and very comfortable. The staff will set up a table near the reception area for you to have breakfast with your dog and in general we found all the staff to be exceptionally helpful, thank you.

Wellness area and breakfast TOP. Service so lala

Pros: Excellent breakfast (and I'm very demanding there), very comfortable beds with pillow alternatives, very nice wellness area (pool with great view, temperature for swimming ok, saunas nice bright with glass and mountain view, nice relaxation room) - until 7 pm unfortunately with clothing, since until then also children can enter the pool (to which you can access through the sauna area). Room to the north was relatively quiet, even if there is a train passing right by. Good starting point for hikes. Room nice and big.
Cons: We could not test the dinner, because the cook was sick for the complete 3 days and apparently no substitute could be found and there was also no small menu according to which you could at least have ordered anything. Bathrobe and fresh towels were not always automatically in the room and sometimes had to be asked. Also, they forgot to hand us the guest card, which led to us having to pay on the bus (but the hotel refunded it on complaint). To the south, the hotel is located with beautiful mountain views but on a busy road.

Location, staff, clothes, and parking are free outside the hotel. Lower parking is €10 per day and it''s all well-appointed

Another problem is that the hotel is upset by the Arabian tourist, and he's a stranger, decorating the rooms with so many leaves on it and instructions like don't smash the Traveler.
We ask hotel management to review their dealings with Arabs
