Ski and vacation

Amazing ! The rooms are all new after new managment renew every posible thing. Starting from kitchen equipment which as everything just like at home, and goes on to every aspect. Most importantly, the new couple who runs the place now are amazingly nice, and every thing is super !!!

The food is great, dinner option is a must, the guy is a chef and you are going to enjoy

Wonderful holiday with kids!

We had a really nice holiday in pension Thainerhof. Owners are very friendly and helpfull. The meals were good and adjusted to are lactose intolerance. The garden is a paradise for children: sand, swingset, little pool, cars, ... Nice atmosphere and a quiet environment. Rooms are not luxuruous but comfortable. Many visits possible to the region, a lot of childfriendly possibilities: Ellmau, Hexenwasser, Fieberbrunn...

Just not what we expected, School Ski Trip

Classed as a hotel but we certainly did not feel we were staying in a hotel, more like a hostel type accommodation. The hotel manager has a big issue with food waste – which was hard to control when students trying new/different food. Nightly we were greeted with a list of complaints from the manager, communication was not easy more tell and listen. No friendly morning/afternoon.
Breakfast – cereal and toast, juice and water with no variations.
Lunch – make your own sandwiches but again no variation between ham, salami and cheese, apple (not enough for everyone), small chocolate bar. Regularly ran out of bottled water.
Dinner – advertised as 3 courses but only offered 2 courses, starter main or main pudding. Eventually we had this changed.
Rooms – mostly double beds which meant sharing beds. I would advise checking the bed slats before taking up occupancy.
The dining room was readily available to us but no other room and certainly no DVD/TV so the only place to spread out was in the bedrooms. Not ideal.
As we were not made to feel welcome I certainly would not return to this hotel.

Summer holiday

Really nice, helpful owners of the hotel smiling everyday, wearing typical Tyrolean dress. Delicius breakfast, dinners and beers. Very nice wooden hotel, with typicat austrian furtniture. Small "zoo" was nice.

Lovely, Quiet Pension

I've stayed at this hotel twice now (2012 & 16) on both occasions for ski trips. It's ideally located for the Fleckalmbahn lift station. The accommodation is traditional, pension style. Rooms are comfortable, very functional but not plush/luxury if that is your desire. Ours were well sized too. The hotel is extremely clean. The staff/owners are helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommended.
