Above all, the staff, especially Ms. Samantha Teufel, is so accommodating, competent, and always friendly that it is like coming home every time. A place of enjoyment for all the senses. We look forward to next time!!

Magnificent hotel

A gem of Salzburg's hospitality, this hotel is built on 14th-century ruins, and everything has been done with extraordinary modernity and luxury! The room is extremely comfortable and the bedding is perfect. Top-notch service. The pool and jacuzzi are very pleasant. Complete and high-quality breakfast. The garage price for one night at €60 is a bit excessive, I find, but for the rest, we had an excellent stay.

Luxury Perfected—Even with Young Children

Hotel Schloss Mönchstein exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely immersed in luxury.
We reserved two rooms, and the staff took the time to help us choose the perfect accommodations for our family. They recommended a room that was ideally configured for our toddler and four-year-old, and their advice was absolutely spot on. Every detail met our needs perfectly, making our stay effortless from the very beginning.
Both rooms were stunning, with breathtaking views overlooking the fortress and the city of Salzburg. Waking up to that scenery each morning was unforgettable. Every detail reflected exceptional quality—from the plush towels and luxurious bed linens to the elegant furnishings and décor.
The amenities were equally impressive. We loved relaxing in the swimming pool and spa, and spending time at the Glass Garden was one of the highlights of our visit. Dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant was extraordinary, while breakfast each morning offered an incredible selection and impeccable service. We also appreciated the thoughtful snacks and refreshments provided in our rooms, another touch that made us feel exceptionally well cared for.
What truly set Hotel Schloss Mönchstein apart, however, was its people. Every member of the team was warm, gracious, knowledgeable, and remarkably professional. They went out of their way to accommodate our family during meals while maintaining the impeccable service you expect from a world-class hotel.
This wasn't simply a wonderful hotel stay—it was an experience we'll remember for years to come. Every aspect, from the accommodations and amenities to the dining and service, was first-rate. We left feeling thoroughly pampered and would recommend Hotel Schloss Mönchstein without hesitation to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Salzburg.

I spent my honeymoon there and it was spectacular!
The location of the hotel is incredible and the service is 10/10.
We had dinner at the Glass Garden and the food was spectacular.
I emphasize the size of the room and the good service.

Beautiful property. Great location. The pool is a lovely amenity. Easy to get to town with the tickets they provide for the lift at the Modern Art Museum.
