Very complete, wonderful rooms, family ambiance and very friendly owner and staff!

**An unforgettable stay at Haus Sanz in Vienna**
We are a senior couple from the Netherlands and have spent five nights in the house Sanz (April 2025). Our stay there was just perfect. Already upon entering we were warmly welcomed. The family atmosphere and loving welcome every morning from the hostess and the friendly, helpful staff have made our stay special.
Rooms are spacious and fully equipped, including coffee and tea making facilities. The bathroom has an excellent shower, which guarantees a pleasant start to the day. Every morning, a fantastic breakfast buffet awaited us with a wide selection of baked and boiled eggs, cheese, cold meats, yogurt, sweet spreads, juices, coffee and tea—there really was nothing missing!
The information folder in the room is also extremely extensive and offers many interesting and helpful tips for a stay in Vienna. Attractions, tourist attractions, restaurants and shops in the area—almost everything can be found in it! And if you need more information, the owner is always happy and committed to help.
The location of the house Sanz is ideal. The hotel is easily accessible by public transport; just a five-minute walk away is the tram stop of the Badner Bahn, which runs every 6 to 7 minutes to the opera house on weekdays—directly to the center of Vienna.(5 min walk) A subway station is also nearby (about 10 min walk)
Although this was not our first visit to Vienna, it was our first experience with the House of Sanz—and certainly not the last! We will definitely come back and can recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and hospitable stay in Vienna!

Superb BUT far from the center of Vienna

The Haus Sanz pension is very original with themed rooms. Very comfortable, spacious. Great breakfast and adorable Suzanne with an infectious laugh.
On the other hand, getting to Vienna is long: Allow around 45 minutes door to door from the Haus Sanz pension to the cathedral.
2 metros or 19 tram stations!

Very Accommodating Service & Great Hospitality

First impression it is a small house with small tasteful rooms and outhouse converted to a breakfast diner and reception.Sussane thank you for those amazing breakfasts the time said 0730 to 1000 but you were ready at 0545

What a great pension!

Really cozy pension, an excellent place to stay in Vienna, you'll feel like home. Very good breakfast, free and safe parking places on the street. Rooms are very beautiful, each one with a different theme (the king room, romantic room ecc.), very spacious and with good furniture. Excellent confort and a very nice owner. I always stay here when in Vienna!

Vienna Citi Marathon

The primary reason of our travel to Vienna was to participate in the Vienna Citi Marathon, so we were looking for a quiet, reasonable priced accommodation in reasonable distance from public transport stations. This goal well achieved, our host and owner was greeting and helping us very friendly, including tips and guides how to travel, reach the destinations to collect our race package, get to the start, where and how to find restaurants. The room was nice, clean and comfortable, comfortable garden, breakfast on the race day was serving very flexibly early, so we could catch the train, while the second day we could enjoy the full home made menu, was nice and tasty. Overall it was a great value for money, and the hospitality was exceptional, we felt ourselves more a friend than a guest.
