Great stay with presence and idyll

A wonderful place where you feel incredibly well received. The room was nice, nice, clean and had everything you need.
The facilities at the hotel were fantastic. Nice pool and spa.
Breakfast was super good.
You feel really welcome at Aparthotel Steger.

Had a fantastic time at Steger!

I stayed at Steger for 17 nights with my wife and five children. The apartment was big, bright and very clean. With a great kitchen and a big dinning table, it was the perfect solution for us. It also had 4 toilets which was great when you are a big family or group. Maria and Chris (the owners) are fantastic! Always very positive, full of energy and would do anything to make sure we were happy. I travel a lot for business, but I have never experienced this level of service mindedness and positive energy anywhere. Besides the wonderful apartment with a big, long balcony facing the Alps, garden and pool. The place as a big external "hut" with two big tables, a full kitchen and two outdoor BBQs which was very handy for us as we cooked all of our meals ourselves. The place also has a great playground, jumping mats, table -tennis tables, tippy, fireplace and and a well equipped indoor play room for kids.
If you are looking for a very family friendly place to stay with many options for you and your children, look no further. We'll definitely be back.

Our favourite winter destination!

We have been coming back to Steger for several years now and it is with certainty our favorite winter destination. Location, service, Steger family, wellness, distance to ski arena or cross-country skiing routes, peace - all rates 5*. Totally recommended for a couple or a family. Centre of Wagrain is a walking distance (you can take a route through nature, no need to walk by the road). We love the property and Steger family, also they keep renovating and adding more service features to the hotel, that is definitely worth mentioning. Cheers! Tereza

The paradise for families in Wagrain

We were at House steger for 10 days with our 3 children.
Maria and Yva they welcomed us very warmly and we felt at home very quickly.
The apartment was spacious and modern with all the facilities in the kitchen.
The breakfast was very rich with coffee, juices, cereals, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, jams and cakes home made by Maria, and more.
In the hotel, there is a swimming pool and a nice spa, and for the children a big playroom with billiards, ping pong. In the garden a big playground to play soccer, and a trampoline, a climbing wall, a sandbox, an indian tent...
We received bikes freely and Maria lend us a baby carrier.
We highly recommended the Steger House!

Don't be fooled by the exterior

House steger is right by the main road between Flachau and Wagrain and at first glance is not welcoming... however... the second you walk in you're embraced by the most warm and welcoming people there... the owners will do whatever they can to make you feel at home. And it is a home away from home, with all the facilities you would imagine - a huge room, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms... downstaires is a trampoline, playing grounds, pool, bikes for free! A bbq station for your liesure... and even an indoor playing room with pingpong table, a small slide for the little ones and a pool table.
Highly recommended.
Ps. Close to several amazing attractions in the salzburgland area ofcourse...
