Budget 4 Star Hotel on the edge of Manama

We are a couple we stayed for 5 nights in room 1405 which is a deluxe king size on bed and breakfast.
PROs
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Well appointed room with small fully functional kitchen.
Comfy bed and pillows.
Buffet breakfast.
CONs
Location is on the edge of Manama. So not much around.
Some of the fixtures and fittings are a little tired and need some TLC.
Pool is small with only 9 sunbeds to serve the hotel which is not sufficient for a hotel with 22 floors.

Perfect place to relax

Thank u ms kate for such a good servive..very kind and polite highly recommended ...hotel staff are amazing and fantastic service im very glad to come in this place..i love thier coffee can't wait to come back soon..thank u kate and the other best staff we enjoyed our stayed

This hotel unfortunately fell short of expectations. The most significant issue was the ongoing construction directly adjacent to the property. The constant noise and vibrations made relaxation impossible and significantly impacted the enjoyment of our stay. Furthermore, while we booked a sea view room, the view was obstructed by constructions. This was a major letdown, especially considering the premium we paid for a room with a sea view. To add to the disappointment, we encountered several instances of unfriendly and unhelpful staff.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Hello,
I am writing this letter as a formal complaint towards Hotel seven. I am highly disappointed with hotels integrity and service. Below I will provide details for my complaint.
We arrived at the hotel around 12:30am on Friday 23rd February 2024. We checked in and asked the reception to make sure a 3rd bed can be setup as we booked for 3 people. We also asked to make sure there would be 3 towels in the room and hand towels. The receptionist said someone will come in 10 mins to sort it out.
As we got up to our room as we would have assumed there was just the 1 double bed and no bed for a 3rd person setup. We then waited 45 mins that late at night after travelling quite a distance. No one then came to help. I then called the reception multiple times. No one picked up. So I went downstairs to the reception and asked the receptionist once again if my bed will be made soon as we were all exhausted from travelling. She said that they have a list of things to do and there is only 1 housekeeper so service is a little slow. I then asked her how much longer. She said 10 mins.
20 minutes later the housekeeper rushed in and setup the bed and said that they don't have anymore blankets so I can only use a bed sheet as a blanket. He then gave 2 more towels and left. The bed was poorly done and I slept with a hoodie on that night as it was quite cold and was only provided a bed sheet as a blanket.
For a 4* hotel and the amount of money we paid this level of service is unacceptable. All should be ready for when we arrived and we shouldn't have to wait 45 mins because your hotel is short staffed. If we booked for 3 people a 3rd bed should be setup and 3 towels should be in the room. Not to mention hand towels in a 4* hotel. To add insult further they provided us with 1 small bottle of body wash for us 3 to share.
This hotel is not a 4* hotel. We had a kitchen in our room but you provided us with 2 cups and 1 glass between 3 people. There was no cutlery, pots, plates, pans, bowels. Is this the level a 4* hotel should be at?
The finishing of this hotel was also horrible. The 2nd bathroom door was broken, the windows hadn't ever been cleaned and the finishing of the place was awful.
The swimming pool was a level down right outside our window which is frankly very strange. This means if we were to open our curtains we would clearly see people swimming and they could see directly into our room. There are many people swimming who would want their privacy especially parents with kids.
