Friendly arrangement and top food

Reserved for the Ventrilogy walk, very well received from Suzan and everything nicely arranged for our walk. Absolutely no complaints and in the evening very good food by our cook Jan. Had a great trip.

B&B with Mood

Good communication prior to our visit. We were kindly received by the hostess on arrival. B&B has a warm and atmospheric atmosphere. The rooms are basic but have the facilities you need. morning a catered breakfast and the check out was cozy with both the hostess and host.

Very warm and cozy!

Reserved 1 night. Dutch speaking owners. Very friendly host and especially the hostess. Accessible, super friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. The B&B is classically decorated, but this makes it extremely cozy! Very warm and cozy living room. I will definitely come back and I definitely recommend b&b!

Cozy, quiet, accommodation, delicious dining!

We recently visited Le Randonneur for the first time, on a weekend away in the Ardennes and Hautes Fagnes, a region where we love walking. From the moment we arrived, despite being an hour earlier than the official check-in time, the owners proved entirely welcoming, and helpful. They helped us identify trails where we could walk directly, and for hours, setting off from the hotel itself. Our room was spacious, very quiet, and we opted to "dine in". How glad we were that we did! The dinner was extremely good! "Steak Frites" was the menu--a risky proposition given how well this is done in so many places in Belgium, but, Wow!, everything about the meal was GREAT! Delicious soup, steak done to perfection, outstandingly good frites, homemade, and the best "sauce poivres vertes" I have ever had; savoury, exceptionally creamy and flavourful, and topped off with a tasty, very fresh, salad, and local brew, on tap. After a good night's sleep (on this very cold and windy and rainy night, the excellent heating in the room was much appreciated) we were treated to an ample, delicious, breakfast, including cheeses, meats, breads, rolls, croissants, butter and jam, whole-grain cereals, fresh orange juice, and good coffee. As you may have guessed, we are looking forward to our next visit! Thank you for being such generous, kind, and helpful, hosts!

Very friendly. Nice house. Some little defaults.

Nice old style rooms, but very dark. Very friendly owners.
Some little defaults: we had 2 rooms (for 5 persons) and both showers drained very slowly, so you had to stop taking your shower very early. Small bathrooms, very basic.
Breakfast very classic, would have liked some healthier food options. Only whole fat milk, whole fat yoghourt, children's cereals only (no healthier muesli or bran options), etc.
One morning short in this, other morning short in that.... 'no choco Nutella spread left' for children, etc....
