Well-kept small-scale stay in beautiful quiet walking region

Beautiful view. Great beautiful walks along the Ourthe nearby. Spacious room and bathroom. Furnishing classic but clean. Comfortable springbox bed. Very catered breakfast with delicious fruit salad, fresh croissants and pistolets, raisin bread, eggs... nothing to criticize! (Beware of slippery floor in bathroom. Non-slip mat would be welcome. )

Very rude, ill-mannered manager!

We informed the operator twice by email that we had to cancel within the specified period, stating the booking name and number. Very ill-mannered, surly manager on the phone who had no ears for an argument and literally closed the phone. Also charged 1 night because our email did not reach him. Later that evening he suddenly appeared to have been seen. Apparently, money making is more important to this gentleman than customer service. He also responded very sullenly to my request to rebook and, without any reason, it turned out not to be possible either. Next time I should definitely read the previous reviews about this B&B more carefully.

75th anniversary of the battle of the Bulge

First time and for sure not the last time I will be staying in this beautiful environment ideally overlooking the valley far off from the tourism mass but close enough to travel to the key sites like Bastogne, Houffalize, Malmedy etc
Look forward to coming back, the owners are charming, attentive and welcoming
As for the bedroom, very nice, spacious and more so for my work, the WiFi worked very well!

Beautiful Villa

Dominique and Nicole Monfort are the hosts in this beautiful villa tucked away in the village of Nadrin (Houffalize). This unexpected gem was so comfortable with luxury amenities. We had a tour scheduled so they served breakfast for us earlier than their scheduled time. The service and hospitality was over the top excellent.

Peaceful, Pleasant, Panoramic

We toured the memorials of Bastogne and chose to stay rural. A fabulous choice it was. Les Alisiers, Is in the midst of hills and valleys with panoramic views, wildlife, farm life, quiet extremely peaceful village and the friendliest hosts we could have asked for.
The accommodation was quiet and comfortable, unassuming, yet elegant all the same.
We would return to Les Alisiers, anytime in the Bastogne area. It is worth the drive.
