A fine stay

A spacious, decent and clean stay with all amenities.
When you step through the sash with bicycle storage you imagine yourself in a small maze. This makes the stay so unique... you get a spacious stay in the heart of Ypres!
Afterwards a nice surprise: when it turned out that I had forgotten some keys, they were sent to me in the mail for free without any discussion!! Great service!!

4 Nights in Ypres aka Ieper

Our appartement was excellent. In respect of comfort and location. Ieper is a great town for a short visit, including the WW1 stories and the very moving Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate. The appartement was a short walk from the main square and the two excellent museums, despite one being shut. Karin gave us a warm welcome and offered good advice on where to eat out, drink and where to visit. Karin offers four appartements - from one for a couple, for two couples or a family of four and the largest for a family or group of six.
Be sure to include Friday, market day, when you plan your visit.

Good Location. Fit for summers

Very cold inside the house. Heating is controlled by owners. We stayed for 4 days, after the first night and next morning of cold we requested for us to control the heating which they did for 2 days and the 3rd night the control was taken away again without informing us. We did not bother asking again.
No cleaning service within 4 days of stay.
Advertised as ground floor apartment. Its a duplex, with one bedroom & bathroom on first floor.
Good location. Good for summer stay.
Minutes away from restaurants & shops.

This apartment for 4 people , it has has one bed and bathroom on the ground floor! It also has a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor , it is one big apartment. you can't say there is only ONE BEDROOM, there are 2 bedrooms ! we don't misguide our guests!! pictures are correct!
As mentioned it is an apartment, no hotel room nor bed and breakfast. We don't clean every day , however in the way you left our apartment we 'd rather did.... ! Normally the cleaning is 2 hours, now it is much more ...
The apartment is new, very isolated and warm( the temperature was set on 23°), and yes we manage the heating, once again .. glad we did
We let you do your way , no problem , you were out all day and the heating was set on 30° !!!! we finally took the managing over again (on 23°), it is a lie the apartment is cold, I think you are coldblooded !
We never had such a low review, we thought this would be so when we first met... nothing seemed to be ok...
We now live in a time where we sort glass, paper, waist,... we take care of the environment,
When people like you , put on the heating all day at 30°, leave the place they stayed in you did,....you should better tell the truth instead of trying to put our hospitality in a bad shade
We are very disappointed in the way you reviewed our apartment
gladly there are a lot of guests who liked it!

ist class accomodation

excellent location, spotless apartment, lots of wee extras. owner acessible by phone, fabulous bed!!, plenty storage, loads of towels, shampoo etc, huge space. great outside space, a wee sun trap.
felt like a home from home, wanted to stay. shops, bars etc minutes walk.
bedroom is on street front but double glazing is sooo good, could not hear a sound.
we recommend this place to stay without question, hope to be back next year.

Very comfortable accommodation walking distance from the city centre

We really enjoyed our stay at this property; however it was just too short! I had not expected Ypres to be such a lovely place and would like to go back again one day. The apartment is a comfortable walking distance from the old town centre.
Our host communicated with us about the time to meet to collect the keys, and he also gave us a run down of the apartment when we arrived.
The apartment looked newly renovated inside and was tastefully furnished. The beds were really comfy and it was very quiet.
The host also provided a mini bar service with a stocked fridge - Local beer,milk,
