Amazing “jungle glamping” experience!
It’s rare that a hotel impresses me even more than what I see online, but Jaguar Creek definitely did! They are located down Hummingbird highway which is the most scenic road I came across in Belize. The property and rooms are beautifully decorated with amazing wood carvings everywhere. You feel immersed in nature just being here. They have a hiking trail, firepits, and a peaceful creek you can float down. We ate at the restaurant a few times and the food was very good as well. All the staff we came across were very kind and accommodating. Hopefully we can come back someday!

Jungle of Beauty
What an amazing, inspiring, relaxing, beautiful and wonderful experience at the Belize Jaguar Creek. Great food and drinks. Great ecolodge living. Outstanding staff and service. Great gift shop with local products. Great day trips and other excursion options. Loved the chefs talking time to make local dishes for us like Sere, Raino/Chimole (Black Dinner). What a gem! Thank you for a fantastic anniversary celebration getaway.

Magical stay immersed in nature
I cannot say enough about the magical experience we had at Jaguar Creek. The facility has just the right amount of comfort, with hot water, cozy beds and well screened cabins. The airy cabins immerse you in the sounds of the jungle, with bird songs in the morning and crickets & howler monkeys at night. The food is home cooked and delicious.
My young adult daughter and I spent 5 days at the lodge. We took advantage of the many activity options and had great adventures to Tikal, horseback riding, cave tubing and a guided bird walk. The tubing on site is slow and sweet.
I want to especially gush about the staff. Every single person on the staff was genuinely kind and provided excellent customer service. Special shout out to Elsie, Ashia, Kendrick, Prim & Javier for making us feel so well taken care of.

Jungle Stay with Friends
Stayed one night after arriving in Belize with 4 couples before making way to Placencia. Staff were amazing, food was great and location was amazing, would love to come back again. Felt like we were staying right in the forest with all the sounds and sights. There is a great lazy float down the river steps from our cabanas that a number of our group did in the morning before breakfast.
The restaurant has a screened in eating area or a deck closer to the river that is open you can eat at as well. We choose to have both meals on the deck by the river and it was great, everything was brought right to use and the food choices made everyone happy.
Location is not in walking distance to anything but great stating point for a tour of the ruins or other tours like cave tubing.
Rooms had everything we needed and lots of space. No AC and windows were all screens so was a little humid but cooled down nicely at night and fans moved air perfectly. Board walks built between all buildings so won’t get muddy if rains. There are a bunch of trails at the location but we didn’t have time to explore.

We had an amazing experience here. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond for us. The food was also really good. We spent half of our time on the beach and the other half here, and this was by far our favorite part of the trip.
