Out of town but only a £1.50 taxi ride to the centre

Given the price, our room was clean and tidy and we had a very comfortable night's sleep with no noise from barking dogs (rare in Bolivia)!
Staff were a little shy but super friendly if you make a little effort to talk to them.

Up high in Potosi

Traveling with a crowd made this a perfect place to stay. The price was right. The suites were roomy. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The only real downer is that hotel is a bit removed from the major tourist sites and taxis were required wherever we went. The breakfast was hardboiled eggs, crackers, and coffee--basic sustenance. Really felt the high altitude here. Potosi has a fascinating history and reportedly was large than Paris and London in the 1600's. The Mint was fascinating--no where else like it. I recommend the hotel without reservation.

Electric Showers

We were grateful to have booked into the establishment after a long journey at 7:00 hours. After a short rest we decided to refresh ourselves with a shower - now see the pics. To our horror we were confronted with the installation shown in the pics. Making matters worse the manufacturer Lorenzetti of electric shower was later found on YouTube described as the Killer Shower, this is without the electric installation safety standards required in North America and Europe. We were offered an alternative room but quickly established the other room’s electric shower was installed to an equal quality. The establishment did offer to repair our shower and when their appointment technician appeared; I quickly established he had little concept of electrical safeguards in a wet atmospheres - so we departed. The staff did arrange for a paid taxi to another abode and thanks for that.
Helpful and friendly staff - however, we’ve no desire to be electrocuted!

Okay hotel, but nice staff

Pros- nice staff members. After our long trip to get here, they brought tea to our room.
Cons- room was super hot, day and night. In our room, the windows didn't open to outside, just to the lobby and it was so hot with no breeze. The staff brought a fan, but it didn't help. The breakfast consists of toast and a boiled egg and coffee, tea, and juice. Not the best. The location of the hotel isn't in the nicest area and is quite far from the sights in town.

Cheap and comfortable hotel in Potosì

New hotel not very central but far from the hectic traffic of Potosì. They have a parking space (free of charge). Room was nice even thought a little bit dark. No heating but they provided a small heater. Nice breakfast, friendly staff.
