The room is simple, very clean and tidy. The air con works and so does the fridge. Nice balcony and Davi on reception was very informative and helpful. The beach is only a stones throw away. The shower in room 107 was not working....water yes.... hot no..
Not really a problem but best if it gets fixed.

To get bad you have to improve a lot!

Bad experience. Broken shower, dirty rooms, moaning walls, leaks in the bathroom. The hotel needs a general renovation. It seems to be going through strong financial difficulties and no maintenance.
The only positive point is the attention of employees

Worst hotel I've ever stayed

Old hotel, poorly preserved and with appearance of abandonment. Wiped towels, very weak breakfast and unprepared care. On one of the days, there was no electricity and there was no generator, which caused us a big trouble: we arrived from the beach hungry and found everything in the dark. The pillow was torn apart, further demonstrating the lack of care. Bad experience. I do not recommend.

Satisfactory Hosting

Excellent hotel, a wonderful receptivity, all staff very helpful and attentive.
Breakfast with lots of diversity and the girls of the kitchen, very careful and polite.
Location near the park (15 minutes walk).

Fantastic Hotel with Fantastic Staff!!

My Girlfriend and I traveled to Fortaleza for the World Cup and had a great stay at Kalamari. The hotel is located 1 block from the beach and is 20 mins outside of Fortaleza. The owners and staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean, have a shower and A/C. They provide a great breakfast spread with coffee/tea, fresh fruit, eggs, breads, cheeses etc. We found that staying outside of Fortaleza was more relaxing and less of a scene. I highly recommend taking a 20 min drive to Prainha. There you will find handmade lace and fresh fish cooked right on the beach. Hotel Kalamari and the friends we met there made our trip to the World Cup memorably and unique.
