Situata a soli 200 m dalla spiaggia di Praia do Curral e a soli 1 km dalla spiaggia Praia Grande, la Pousada do Caboclo offre una piscina all'aperto e un giardino. La connessione Wi-Fi e il parcheggio sono gratuiti.

Just few easy improvements needed
It would have been “good” if TripAdvisor had that score. It wasn’t enough for “very good”, but it was above “average”.
The place is located on a steep heel and quite high above sea level. That makes it for an AMAZING view, but it may be a little difficult to drive to for a driver who never dealt with that. Ask Andre (the owner) to drive your car up for you, if you have problems. He’s always around and such a great guy!
Remember that the Island is a very attractive destination, because it’s still quite a remote location. The price is very attractive, but the Pousada lacks few basics. Our room wasn’t up to scratch, with tiny windows missing in the bathroom, through which insects could go inside (they’re relentless and WILL DEFINITELY be a problem everywhere on the island). The bathroom was smelling bad, I think drains could be clean more often. Towel rail and toilet roll holder were broken. Towels could have been bigger and no soap was provided. There’s a satellite (Brazilian) tv in the room, what I personally would replace for other room amenities, which, like I mentioned, were missing. There’s free Wi-Fi (signal may be weak, depending on where your room is).
We didn’t use the small pool, but during hot days it looks like a perfect place to have beers with your friends.
Breakfasts was really tasty, with fresh bread, cheese, ham, juices, cakes, fruit, coffee and biscuits.
Decor is really cool with many well done graffitis, drawings and hand made artwork - quirky and quite impressive.
Overall, considering the price, it’s a really good place to stay.

Deixou a desejar!
O acesso a pousada é HORRÍVEL! Subida extremamente íngreme, deveria ter mais informações em relação a isso. Se fosse somente em relação ao acesso, eu não volto nunca mais. O estacionamento é minúsculo (cabe uns 4 carros e olhe lá). Ficamos na suíte do andar de cima, com uma bela vista. Contudo, a limpeza do quarto deixou a desejar. Lençol de cama velho, toalhas tbm, ainda bem que levamos tudo. Fiquei com um pouco de nojo de tudo. Sobre o café da manhã, achei simples porém muito bom. É bom chegar cedo, pq a reposição é um pouco demorada das coisas.

Pousada ruim
A pousada toda deixou a desejar, quarto cheirando mal, chuveiro nao funcionava direito, faltou agua, televisao velha, roupa de cama rasgada, colchao afundado e travesseiro velho!
Nao tivemos muita privacidade, cozinha encardida.
A localizacao da pousada e boa, porem tem uma subida muito forte que nao foi comentado.

Pior lugar
De vez em quando volto aqui pra ler o que as pessoas estão achando desse lugar, procuro saber se fizeram melhorias, enfim... Tenho visto muita reclamação ainda. Se tivesse lido as queixas que leio hoje, com certeza nem teria perdido tempo me hospedando aqui. Os proprietários com certeza nem sabem da existência deste site.

Praia linda que é destruida pela pousada.
A praia do curral com certeza é uma das praias mais bonitas da ilha, o que estragou a viagem foi a pousada do caboclo que deveria se chamar albergue do caboclo. Ar condicionado não funciona, ventilador não venta, lençol sujo,quarto com pouca privacidade,com humidades que causam mal cheiro. A subida foi complicada pois na descrição em sites de reserva não diz que ela existe então quando chegamos lá tivemos uma desagradável surpresa. Funcionarios preguiçosos que te perguntam se você quer serviço de quarto (sabendo que é algo incluso na diária) fora a sujeira que o quarto fica eles não fazem questão de trocar as toalhas que são escuras e encardidas.Uma viagem para uma praia linda que foi estragada por uma estadia horrível, e o café da manhã não é reposto (se é das 8h as 10h da manhã, precisa ser reposto dentro desse intervalo). Não indicaria para o meu pior inimigo.
