Cozy and clean environment

The Inn is beautiful and welcoming. It consists of chalets that can individual or couples and others for groups of 5 people, are identified by names of fruits (my time the tapereba) and has a small balcony with chair or bench, has an area with barbecue and another where it is served the breakfast with juice and fruits of the region , there is a small parking lot , well cared gardens , a small pool with nearby shower. At the entrance there is still an area with banks, balance chair and 3 nets. The rooms are clean with fridge and air conditioning, bathroom with space pump. They are hygienized daily and the care is welcoming and helpful. The location is great with restaurants, shops and pharmacy nearby. I will definitely return.

Intolerable and rude staff

Terribly bad. The location is good, close to the center and restaurants, but the inn is very poor, in bad taste, but the REALLY worst part is the service provided by the staff. Rude, unprepared, they responded harshly when we asked about the poorly organized parking spaces, they left the reception alone several times... “tolerating” a simple inn in Alter do Chão is possible (as the city has a lot of that) but IGNORANT service from the employees is unacceptable!!! Other friends who were in other inns with a similar structure had a much better experience. I don't recommend it at all! Additional: the service at the pizzeria next to the inn is VERY bad.

Acredito que voce não estava no seu melhor dia, pois aqui mesmo tem vários comentários sobre a pousada e nenhum está fazendo reclamações no grau e teor que a sua. Que pode ter havido de algum funcionário não ter lhe atendido como voce esperava, pode ter acontecido isso, mas não no grau que voce expõe aqui no seu comentário chamando a pousada de "Terrivelmente Ruim" e "Paupérrima" o que não reflete a realidade. Voce poderia muito bem ter procurado a gerente ou a proprietária que inclusive mora na pousada e relatado o acontecido, mas não, voce preferiu vim aqui e falar mal da pousada.

Best Pousada in Alter do Chão - Cost/Benefit

My best experience I had in Alter do Chão. I spent 4 days at Pousada Vila da Praia and I felt very comfortable with my daughter. From the moment we made our reservation with Mr. Antônio and during our stay at the inn, we were well taken care of by the staff. The breakfast was excellent and whenever we requested something we were attended to by the kitchen team. On the last day we took advantage of the inn's swimming pool and enjoyed the beauty of the place. This was my 3rd time on the island, but I stayed at other inns, but none of them compared to the welcome I had at the village inn. My eternal gratitude to the team and we will definitely recommend them!! ♥️♥️

Without fear of being happy!!!!

Clean environment, a great breakfast organized, helpful and very friendly staff and a green area...wonderful.
Good location...in short, everything we need...a comfort like home.

Beautiful but...

Pros: Very nice & pleasant place, lots of plants, trees & shade, AC in rooms, outdoor kitchen, small pool, breakfast ok, close to beach & restaurants.
Cons: Nobody speaks English, very weak WiFi, unpractical bathroom design, dog excrements not cleaned up.
