Good hotel

We stayed in this hotel just for one night. Good location, easy to find, clean rooms and bathroom, friendly staff, free parking on site. The waitress didn’t speak English, so she soon became nervous when we tried to explain her our wishes. Also there was very loud music playing during our dinner.

Good hotel in Lukovit

This hotel is in the eastern part of the town (not the one in the center of town). It is a good budget hotel for visitors, but not many amenities (this was during Covid). Although Lukovit is not a large town, you will need a car or taxi to easily get from the center of town to the hotel. You could walk, but it is about 0.5 mile (0.8km) from the center. I think we stayed in the older part of the hotel (on the left of the picture) and we had to take an odd way to get there: past the reception, out the to the back patio, turn left to the back entrance of the older building and then into the hotel.

Me and my fiance decided to stay for 2 nights. The staff was really helpful but that didn't compensate the fact that the hotel is 3 stars and it didn't have a fridge, an elevator and in our case a working TV. Although we had a few conversations with different people from the stuff, for 48 hours there was no signal. We liked the breakfast. We had Spa procedures included in our reservation but didn't go because it turned out that the Spa centre was in their other hotel. I can recommend this hotel if someone just wants to sleep there for a night.

Don't be fooled by the bright exterior!

The drive into the area of town where this hotel is located looks pretty grim, but the hotel really stands out with it's blue and yellow facade! The staff are very helpful, but be aware that their English is non-existent.
Our room was dated, but was clean and comfortable. The rear of the hotel looks out onto a factory which can be a bit off-putting when you are shown to your room!
The standard of the breakfast was very good and well worth the extra 4 leva charged.

Cheap & cheerful

Rooms are very basic, but suited for a one night stopover. Breakfast was extra - 3 euros, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, bread, butter, cheese, coffer or tea - very basic, but we were glad it was offered.
