Lunch on terrace was very average. Efficient service but food was disappponting. Very little choice.
Fish was frozen bit wad aoak. Shoestring frozen chips so overcooked a fork couldnt penetrate them. They became finger food , needing lots of vinegar.

Frozen Products In Ala carte Restaurant
We chose this place specifically for its price, fully expecting a basic guest house, but our experience was marred by unprofessionalism and significant safety concerns.
Located at the top of St. Vlas, the hotel is an old, 4 story Soviets tyle concrete building with no elevator. The rooms are basic and disappointing; the wooden doors offer almost no soundproofing and let dust pass through freely, making it noisy at night due to footsteps in the hallway.
The bathroom situation is a safety hazard. There is no shower cabin, just a thin plastic curtain. Water floods the area all the way to the mirror, and the floor becomes extremely slippery with no safety precautions taken. If you are not careful, you will fall. The pool area is tiny and lacks any umbrellas for shade; it is essentially just for cooling off, not for swimming.
The Major Issue The Restaurant Experience
The biggest negative was the restaurant service. The manager (a blonde woman in her 50s) pestered us for two days after breakfast until we agreed to pay 75 Euros per person for a fixed a la carte menu (including appetizers, main course, and two bottles of low-quality white wine).
It was a huge disappointment:
Unprofessionalism: The staff was eating and drinking right next to the tables while we were trying to have our meal. Worse, they were smoking and vaping while on duty, which is completely unacceptable in a dining area.
Service: The waitress did not speak English, only Russian, which made communication impossible.
Food Quality: For the high price charged, the quality was abysmal. The seafood (octopus, sea bass, calamari) was clearly frozen, and the frying oil had a heavy, old, and unpleasant smell.
Atmosphere: It felt very cheap no tablecloths, just basic placemats on simple tables.
We knew this was a budget guest house, so we had low expectations for the rooms, but the unprofessional behavior and the overpriced, poor-quality dining.

Cheap Place for Short Stays
The hotel is located 400 meters from the beach and sits on a hill. While walking down to the beach is relatively easy, climbing back up the hill with beach bags and heavy loads is quite challenging. If you choose to drive to the beach, you have to pay for parking there.
Furthermore, because the hotel’s on-site parking is extremely limited, finding a spot when you return is very difficult. The staff member who manages the valet parking also doubles as a general assistant, and he clearly struggles to find space for guests' vehicles.
The hotel building is quite old and does not have an elevator. The furniture in the rooms is very outdated, the flooring is in poor condition, and the sofas are also very worn out. Unfortunately, we chose this place because it was affordable, but being a budget option does not excuse such poor standards of basic cleanliness and comfort.
The room doors are made of wood and use old-fashioned metal keys, which are quite cumbersome to carry around. There is no soundproofing at all; you can easily hear other guests walking in the hallway. Furthermore, the air conditioning units are extremely noisy
There is a cafe at the entrance offering fast food. The facility features a small swimming pool with approximately 6–7 sun loungers. Since we did not use these amenities, I am unable to comment on them.

A Highly Disappointing Stay
Unfortunately, our stay at this guest house was a very poor experience. While the guest house is located at the highest point of St. Vlas, the management is incredibly pushy. They are relentless in their efforts to sell you food and drinks at their own restaurant, constantly hovering like "glue" and pushing menus on you. It was quite intrusive and uncomfortable. Why would I choose to eat in a concrete building smelling of heavy grease and kitchen odors when I could enjoy a meal by the beach?

Rooms & Bathrooms: The rooms are outdated. The bathrooms lack bathtubs, and you must be extremely careful after showering; the floors become incredibly slippery, and there are no safety mats provided to prevent falls.
Accessibility: There is no elevator. This is mentioned in very fine print on booking platforms, meaning you have to climb four flights of stairs every time.
Accuracy: The photos and information provided online are heavily photoshopped and highly misleading. The atmosphere is ancient, and the building feels like a massive block of concrete.
Location: The hotel sits right in front of a mini-roundabout. The constant traffic noise is a major disturbance.
The Only Positive:
The only bright spot was the young lady at the small reception desk (whom I believe was Ukrainian). She was exceptionally polite, kind, and professional. It was clear she was a hard worker, likely displaced by the war, and she was the only person who treated us with genuine hospitality.
