Perfect cheap getaway
We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back.
There weren't many British guests staying, but that actually made for a really nice mix of nationalities, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We also loved that there weren't loads of unnecessary rules – everything just felt easy and stress-free.
The pool was great, especially for families, with brilliant slides for the kids. We never struggled to find a sun lounger, which was a huge bonus.
The food at Captain Duck restaurant was excellent. Everything we tried was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and your first visit comes with a discount, making it even better value.
The rooms are a little dated, but they're spotlessly clean, cleaned every day, and to be honest, you're not in them for very long anyway.
The location is ideal – close enough to the strip, bars and restaurants to walk easily, but still peaceful. It was also very straightforward to keep our room on for a late departure, and it only cost us €12 to get to Nessebar.
We got a fantastic deal for our stay and felt it was excellent value for money. We'd happily return, and next time we'll definitely be bringing the kids!

Have a great holiday in Bulgaria
The hotel makes a good impression. The three-star rating reflects the standard of the facility. It's clean, the meals are of standard quality, and there's a good selection for families with children. The pool has small but interesting water slides, open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The sea is close by, and there are shops and restaurants nearby. A great vacation...

Would return, very clean and we all had a great stay!
Ignore the reviews. On arrival staff were friendly and showed us to our room. We had a 2 bed apartment which was a great size and very clean, the whole hotel is very clean. Cleaners are lovely. Room lacked a utensils (egg spatula, tin opener, bottle opener) but was workable. Cleaners come in daily and beds changed every 3 days. Aircon worked well.
You can hire sun bed mattresses from reception for €1 per day.. didn’t see this till day 12 or I would have been all over it. Pool is good, little cold for me but didn’t stop anyone else. Kids/adults love the slides & kept them
Busy. What I especially liked is the hotel allows inflatables, many Spanish hotels have banned them and I love a bob on a lilo and the kids had lots of fun on them.
Food in captain jacks (onsite) was some of the best we had (isn’t open for breakfast). Location is good, we loved funkys bar a short stroll away. They do a nice breakfast & other food.
Lidl is out of the hotel.. turn left, then first left and follow road to the top (5 mins). Is better priced and more availability.
Free bus to neesebar water park from outside the hotel, we just paid for entry when we got there and actually dodged all the queues in doing so! The sunny beach action water park isn’t so busy and no queues for the times we passed.
We would definitely return to this hotel, thank you for a great stay.

Poor breakfast experience
Small dining room for so many guests.
Staff overwhelming and stressed.
The breakfast runs out and the staff does not have time to replace.

Amzing hotel staff really make this hotel excellent
1st of all if you want to stay in this hotel you will be making a great choice but if your veggie avoid dinner no options apart from chips..
The cleanness of this hotel is 2nd to none rooms spot less very clean room size is extally what you need also have shower that is perfect don't want a bath in the late July heat... Rooms cleaned everyday 5* for rooms and how clean they are
The only disappointment is the food no Vegratian I'm afraid if you don't eat meat it will be chips for you so don't book evening meal.. If your are a meat eater this is the perfect choice for you....
I have stayed in hotels all over the world and in this beautiful hotel I have never been treated as good by all the staff than here nothing is ever to much for them so so helpful I just want to name 3 in no particular order on reception Tatyana is the most amazing helpful knowledgeable and goes out her way to make sure that everything you need or require is done in a instant... Pavel the bar man is the most friendly helpful kind and such a fantastic person to have around the hotel always has a smile on his face and willing to do anything he can to make sure all your needs are met.. Last but not least stelios the new manager runs an amazing hotel takes the time to talk to you only been here a year and has made it into an fantastic hotel everything you can think of he has sorted and with the team behind this hotel will only get better and better thank you stelios and all the amazing team you have...
The location couldn't be better only a couple of min walk to the beach and the main shops only 10 mins further the hotel is slightly out the way of the main part meaning that quietness is guaranteed... A perfect night sleep with no loud bangs people coming in drunk banging doors in early hours you will not find here you will sleep sound with no disturbances...
Just a quick note if you are english there are a few foreign guests staying here and I've experienced a few times them swearing and been a bit aggressive towards you but that is not a big issue it's mainly around breakfast and dinner time..
To sum it up this is a fantastic hotel that is great value so don't be put off by the price with the new manager this hotel is only going higher and higher.. Without the staff this hotel would just be a bog standard cheap getaway.. Here your going have a great times beer 1.60 € a pint.. Just to say again the staff make this hotel amazing do not be put off by the current star rating this hotel is moving up fast so book it now while you can...
