Nice and calm place. The tavern offers big and delicious portions. The staff is very friendly. I recommend it.

Nice and calm place. The tavern offers big and delicious portions. The staff is very friendly. I recommend it. There is a parking place. It could be parked also around the hotel. There is a swimming pool, sauna. Nice view from the rooms and balcony.

Terrible service

It you used to be a nice place. Not anymore. Terrible service and attitude. Plus noise and loud music in the night from the restaurant. Not suitable with families with kids. Only big drunk companies are welcome here. Last time when we ordered lunch, we were waiting one hour and 30 minutes and we left without eating. Our three years daughter was with us and we didn't receive a 'sorry'.

Mehana Uzunski, great.

Popped in on a Tuesday evening.
Large hotel, so clean and tidy and modern. The you enter the Mehana and it looks great, like a traditional one with lots of dark wood.
Nice and warm, good folk music playing,
Staff friendly and nice, very good service.
Food was fresh, hot, tasty and plentiful.
I would recommend the Mehana.

Mehana Uzunski - average food, friendly service

We came here for lunch on our way to the Canyon of the Waterfalls near Smolyan. I love food from this region as it is usually very authentic and rich in flavours.
Mehana Uzunski is a place which might seem authentic to foreign tourists and they might like the food and atmosphere but I would rate the place as average. This is mostly because of the quality of the food served. Otherwise, service was very friendly and helpful.

My favorite eating place is their "Mehana Uzunski"..

You have to stop there for lunch or dinner - I would definitely recommend dinner though, the Lamb on spit is out of this world, tradition is all over it while Agneshka Glavichka was the speciality for our group every year we visited.
Everything is good! There isn't one dish which you'd regret ordering. Typical Bulgarian Food, bursting with flavors.
The hotel is also good - clean, neat, has all the necessities one needs. I would recommend room with a balcony. The air in the area is fresh and leaving the door open at night, even just a little bit in those freezing winter nights, makes a big difference. I just love coming back here..
