It was such a short stay, a quick overnight stay. We were on our way to a family reunion.Long drive for 10 hours, and we booked this motel as needed a good night sleep as we had another 10 hours further to travel. We have never stayed in Cranbrook before and had no had recommendations. This motel was

BEDBUGS, FLEAS, RUDE, DIRTY, THE WORST!! AVOID!!

BED BUGS & FLEAS!! This is the most disgusting place I have stayed in and I have stayed in some pretty terrible places. I have over 25 bites. Dirty floor, pubes and bedbugs in the bed, thick grey dust stuck to the non working air conditioner, non working TV. The exterior was covered in dirt and cigarette butts. No refund and rude staff. Passed the buck to Booking.com who gave me a $16.11 travel voucher! DON'T STAY HERE!!

Bed Bugs!!!

Do NOT stay here. My husband and his buddy found BED BUGS in the morning before they checked out. The lady in the next room was also in the front lobby because her room had them as well. My husband has bites all over his body. I am currently doing loads of laundry. It was dirty, the air conditioning did not work…DRIVE AWAY fast…. The man at the front desk was very rude. No refund or nothing given!

This is by far the worst room we have ever rented. I do not recommend it to anyone. There were cigarette butts and grime all along the side walk. The exterior of the building needs painting. The room was filthy. Fortunately the beds were clean with the exception of one grubby pillow. The kitchenette was so gross and filthy. Not sure how long ago it was clean but I'm sure it's been many, many months. The were actually plants growing up from behind the stove!!!
The man that checked me in was rude.
When I arrive back home I will be reporting this motel to the BC Health inspector.
Who ever rated this dump needs to return for a further inspection.
It deserves 0 stars.
Grossed out and disappointed.

unsatisfactory - I don't understand how the customer satisfactory rating is not lower

I booked and paid prior to my arrival. The property is not tidy and unkept, and there was garbage needing to be dealt with. The room was unclean and very much in need of attention. I did not feel overly safe her. The person at the front desk actually apologizes for the state of the place and I was promised a refund. I am now fighting for that refund.
