Relaxing and Friendly

A lovely B&B that was very clean, very comfortable, and is walking distance to a lot of good restaurants/pubs. Yoyo is a very friendly owner and was accommodating to me despite some travel/arrival issues. I would absolutely return here the next time I'm in Montreal.

racist insult and remarks

I have just experienced something unprecedented at this hotel.
Context: I am an employee in finance in Paris, I am going to Montreal for an 11-day vacation with work colleagues following my hotel searches, I was attracted by the positive reviews of this hotel. I made a reservation on booking yesterday and confirmed after checking the payment methods.
This evening for some reason I receive a hidden call from this hotel with insults and even in the booking messaging I am very shocked by this atypical behavior obviously I contacted booking for explanations. However, I would like to share my experience here. People who wish to book in this low-end hotel do not be fooled by the Google reviews which do not reflect reality.
The behavior of which I am a victim demonstrates the lack of professionalism of their staff.
Hotel to absolutely avoid.
I will personally come and meet the manager of this hotel to have explanations regarding this behavior and their motivations. I will post screenshots of the messages sent by the hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE

I regret booking La Loggia for my Montreal vacation. The BnB is falsely advertising cable tv and air conditioning in the rooms; they are steps away from an outside bar/patio, the house itself is very loud, and the owners disregarded their own cancellation policy of 1 night fee for cancellation but charged me for the full stay despite my leaving (running away) after 1 night. The owners have ignored all communications to resolve the issue. The properly description is false, and you have no means of getting your money back. I believe the glowing recommendations I read before I booked were actually fake. Do Not Stay here unless you want to lose your money and have an awful experience.

Convenient, safe and comfortable

Yoyo is a divine friendly soul - I rented a room with private bathroom in her home and really enjoyed my stay. The location, the comfort and the breakfast was GREAT and good value for money too! Highly recommend!

A very relaxing and comfortable room in the Village of Montreal

I found la Loggia to be a comfortable and relaxing bed and breakfast. The location was great as I was hoping to be in the Village and within a couple minute walk from Ste Catherine Street. The proprietors were friendly and the breakfast, especially the crepes, was a good treat. I would stay here again.
