Better Than I Expected

We stayed in the motel and found it clean and quiet and not at all outdated. The bed was comfortable and having a couch was a bonus. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but it met our needs.

Fair place

Fair place, dated, fair price. Location was just off the highway and had restaurants nearby. It was handy for us. Would possibly stay again.

Good value for money

For the very reasonable room rate, this motel was good value for money. It was just what we needed for a very short stop-over when leaving Cape Breton and proceeding to Burncoat Head Park. The front desk lady very kindly provided us with some of the breakfast items when we checked in so we could have something to eat in the morning as we were leaving too early for the continental breakfast. She also gave us a small kettle so we could make tea. We really appreciated her going above and beyond and thought this was excellent customer service. Thank you!

A comfortable and clean motel.

This is our second stay at the Oasis Motel. We stayed 5 years ago and were happily surprised that the motel was still a good deal and a worthwhile stop. After spending a few days driving around Cape Breton, this was a great spot to stay. Motel is clean and comfortable, pool is perfect to cool off in and location is great as it's close to downtown but also a short drive to Pomquet beach. I highly recommend this motel.

Oasis Motel Clean, Friendly and Affordable

Arrived Wednesday earlier than checkin. Our room was ready. So fresh when I opened the door. Then I get a call from the owner to see if everything was ok with our room. So thoughtful and kind!
Very clean and beautiful linens. Our stay for three nights was very comfortable. Awesome complimentary breakfast.
I know this sounds crazy….
But I will say I was sooo happy to see soft thick toilet paper!!! Not mall paper! Love the open exposed ceiling beams also! I know we will return when visiting family.
Thank you Oasis for the cozy and affordable home away from home.
