Would Return!
It was pet friendly - call to confirm a room is pet friendly at booking. I liked that they provided a water resistant sheet / blanket. I wish they had of provided two (one for each bed). There was green space for the dogs to relieve themselves.
They left the key in the room for easy check in, the downside was I didn't get all the "rules" for pets at check in, so unclear if I followed them all.
Rooms have AC, and I had a mini fridge & microwave & coffee maker.
The location was about 5min from downtown. There is a Tim Hortons across the street & Golf Course near by.
It was quiet & parking was plentiful.

Changed the rate I was quoted without telling me
When I booked our rooms, we were told the standard rooms available were either a room with two double beds ($189) or a room with two queen beds ($199). We specifically booked the two queen bed room for my father because he wanted the larger beds. My son and I specifically booked the two double bed room because we didn’t need the larger beds.
At check-in, my father was offered a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which staff said was at no additional charge. When I checked in, I was simply given my room key and asked for my credit card. I was never told my room had been changed or that I would be charged the higher $199 rate.
When I noticed the extra charge after returning home, I contacted the motel. I was told that I had “chosen” the two queen bed room, despite the fact that my original booking was for the two double bed room. Ironically, my father—who had actually booked the two queen bed room and received the complimentary suite upgrade—was charged the lower $189 rate.
The issue isn’t the $10—it’s the lack of transparency. I was never told my room had been changed or that I would be paying a higher rate.
You would think that in a small town like Saint Andrews, customer satisfaction and reviews would matter. Unfortunately, it seems the extra $10 was more important than leaving a customer feeling they had been treated fairly!
