Friendly, very helpful staff from desk staff, housekeepers and security. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Medical visit sanctuary.

When one hears Destination Hotel it conjures up visions of luxury, and things to experience.
This hotel has been heavily used and is attached to the Hospital which is the reason for our visit. It was convenient, had two restaurants and a Starbucks Coffee shop.
The area it is located in is very sketchy, I did not venture outside during my whole stay. I saw things out my win do that I would never have seen in my rural town in the Interlake. My room was comfortable but very worn, and had a slight smell of urine. The front desk staff were very cordial, courteous, and efficient.

They were very helpful the moment we walked in.. stayed an extra night and got to keep the same room..

The hotel is attached to a major health centre in Winnipeg. If you are staying at the hotel for medical appointments it is an ideal place to stay. However the area is not the greatest and numerous security personnel and police are in and around the premises. The hotel rate was not inexpensive as we paid $533 for two nights (parking also extra at 15day/night). We had no problem getting a spot in the parking lot so that was a bonus. You are paying for the convenience to the medical centre and not the ambiance of a fancy hotel. Our room was nice with plenty of room and a comfy bed. however getting hot water was an issue. One night we had a cold shower and both days the water in the sink got luke warm at best. We ate breakfast at the restaurant twice - it was ok. The desk staff were helpful and room service was good.

Not afan of having to pay for the parking, especially for the price of the room with tax and fees. Both restaraunts werevery good, both with the food and staff.The front desk staff were all very professional, friendly, informative and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and it wasvery quiet around me.
