An exceptionally excellent experience
Excellent hotel with surprising cuisine, very well prepared meat and they surprised me with some Parmesan clams, very good quality drinkable

Poor experience
The main strength of this hotel is, without a doubt, its privileged oceanfront location. The setting is spectacular and has the potential to offer a memorable experience. However, a series of important details end up significantly affecting the stay.
Considering the cost of the room, the price-quality ratio is not favorable.
Although the room has an ocean view, the window is surprisingly small, which quite limits the enjoyment of a landscape that should be one of the hotel's main attractions. It also does not have a coffee maker, something that today seems basic in establishments of this category; instead, they only offer an electric kettle with some rather simple tea bags.
Another negative point was the shower. Maintaining a pleasant temperature proved practically impossible: the water alternated between very hot and very cold, making showering an uncomfortable experience.
The best thing about the room was the bed. The mattress is of very good quality and really comfortable, allowing for an excellent rest.
Regarding the restaurant, the experience was rather average. The dishes are adequate, but they do not stand out for either presentation or flavor, especially considering the price level. The service at the tables was slow and not very friendly, which also does not help to improve the general impression. As a very positive aspect, the desserts were truly exceptional and probably the most noteworthy part of the entire gastronomic offering.
Another negative aspect is the breakfast, American style, very simple. There is no buffet.
In summary, the hotel has an extraordinary location, but it neglects essential aspects that make a difference in the guest experience. For the price paid, I expected quite a bit more. Unfortunately, I do not think I will repeat the experience.

Bad Service, bad experience. I don't recommend it.
Abysmal Service, I get carried away with the infraction and image you project on social networks. Small and simple rooms, we paid room with terrace but a pillar occupied much of the view. Slow and impolite staff. Basic breakfast, does not meet what you would expect for this type of hotel.

Disappointed
We went with the family on February 14 when we arrived at 16:00 and fraction wanted to have lunch and the surprise was that the restaurant does not serve guests because they have a 14/February event. Forced to find where to eat in Curanipe. View from the villa we stayed good, maid service but not included washing dishes . Poor breakfast, 700 USD per night, 3 star hotel service. Unfortunate

Debut and farewell
Debut and farewell….
Motivated by the networks we wanted to innovate from the hotel that we always go to and book in Pura Mar from October 8-10. A few days later we told some friends to accompany us but, surprise...the value was already more than triple what we took...clearly they did not accompany us.
Upon arrival, the receptionists did not stand out for their friendliness...we went to the room on the 3rd floor, it was very good, and the view was incredible but taking into account that we have 2 girls it was not the ideal room since to go to the beach there is You have to go down and up 1,500 steps, to the restaurant a little less, I think it is not a hotel suitable for children or the elderly.
At night we ate in their very nice restaurant, it has a wonderful view, which is overshadowed by the lack of kindness of their attention, no one welcomes you and we had to call to have our order taken. When paying the bill, Garzón asked us for the corkage in cash...as we doubted where that money would go, we preferred to ask for it in the account.
At breakfast the next day it was the same experience, no one welcomes you so you don't know where to sit, again I think it is not suitable for children, since there are no foods that suit their preferences, the only liquid is coffee, tea and passion fruit juice, they could improve by including yogurt, fruit or cereals.
Apart from this, it is a good hotel with a very nice view and a wide, pleasant beach.
