Excellent choice for the family

We always go to the hotel and cabins Bordeandino, the excellent cabins, well heated, the place is nice and close to the ski center, the very friendly staff always help us in everything. They have grills for roasting, parking lots, hot tubs, the environment is quiet, they have yn restaurant, bar, games room. The weather accompanied us very well

Las Trancas experience

The hotel is well located, although access needs to be by private vehicle or pre-arranged transport.
This property is managed under the concepts of environmental respect and the management of the hotel does not promote the bringing or removing any vegetal matter from the property.
Borde Andino offers basic accommodation and meals in a very natural environment, the timber cabanas are well set up for the inclement weather in Winter - June-July being good months for the snow enthusiast. Hot tubs are available for a fee and you nedd to book. There are walks offered for the guests but if you have your transport you may drive 5 minutes up the road and find charming snow-covered forests. Further up the hill, you can find hot springs and the snowfields with chairlift (fees apply).
In the Winter nights the hotel hosts games and indoor competitions.There is live music on week-ends.
The bar is well-geared to satisfy the thirsty and the frozen. The food is typical Chilean food.
I recommend it.

A bad choice.

I cannot really think of anything positive to say about this hotel. We found it to be cheerless, down at heel and overpriced. Breakfast didn't start until 9 in the morning, nor was any one contactable to check out, which caused us considerable difficulties as we needed to make an earlier start. Couldn't recommend in anyway. It was certainly the worst place we stayed in in Chile in 3 weeks touring.

Gran lugar para un escape y descansar como corresponde

5 días y 4 noches en el hotel, en las habitaciones. Todas las instalaciones muy buenas, buena atención de todo el personal, y una excelente ubicación para los distintos destinos que hay cerca. Además, todos muy amables en explicarnos y dar opciones para visitar estos días.
Tenían una sala de juegos con mesa de Pool, Ping pong y taca taca, muy entrete. Probamos las tinajas (se pagan aparte), pero totalmente recomendadas para un momento de relajo.

Hospedagem agradável

O hotel tem uma estrutura muito boa. No térreo estão a recepção, uma grande área de estar, o bar e o restaurante, todo o ambiente com belas vistas para as águas e montanhas. O quarto também tem belas vistas para as águas e montanhas. Cama confortável e ótimo banheiro com boa ducha e bancada grande. O café da manhã é muito bom, com opção de pedir ovos mexidos feitos na hora. O estacionamento é gratuito.
Um ponto a melhorar no hotel é permitir ao hóspede regular o aquecimento no quarto o tempo todo, sem a necessidade de pedir a ligação do sistema de aquecimento.
