Kempinski: Great

This is a great hotel, well designed and kept. The staff are incredibly helpful and have gone out of their way to help on a personal level during this trip. The bed is comfortable with pillow options available, amazing views and such a good location to see most of the ‘must sees’ in the city within 20 minutes. Food has also been great throughout…

Amazing Stay

I checked out from Room #27XX, and my stay was truly amazing. I was upgraded to an Executive Suite for 6 days and 5 nights, which made the experience even more special.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Reservations team, especially Plus, who assisted with my booking and helped resolve an issue with my parcels prior to check-in. At the reception, Kerry was exceptionally kind, and the check-in process was fast and smooth. I would also like to thank the reception team members David and Freya (if I’m not mistaken, on duty on 3 February during the noon shift). They were very thoughtful and kindly extended my late check-out until 6:00 pm after learning that I was unwell.
My thanks also go to the concierge, Garry, who assisted with my parcels and helped me place in-room dining orders when I was unable to scan the QR code in the room. Lastly, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the housekeeping staff, Heroine and Madam Dora, for keeping the room spotless. The small handwritten note she left truly touched me.
Thank you to the entire team at Kempinski Chongqing. You are all amazing.

The best Kempinski I have stayed at.

We, a family of 4, just stayed 3 nights at this great hotel. We enjoyed the stay a lot. The service of the staff is perfect, the kindness and the willingness to help is outstanding. The rooms are great, old style european luxus which I as an european like a lot. The pool and other facilities are perfect. We tried the breakfast which also was perfect. This hotel is among the best Kempinski hotels I have stayed at. I would give them 6 stars if I could. See you again next time we are in Chongqing.

Never again

Sorry, a second time I will avoid this hotel.
Cleanliness...foreign word
Lobby ok everything else unfortunately not.
Furniture visible damage, carpet in the corridor and in the room dirty, bathroom ... leaves a lot to be desired.
The small fridge had 3 drinks and also not free as in Bangkok.
This hotel does not deserve 5 stars with the best will.
I also had some photos but I don't want to make things worse.
Speaking of location in general!! Very smelly and terrace not usable

Both Paul Zhu and Wendy Xie we're very accommodating and wonderful to me during my trip. They are both very professional and friendly. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
