This was one of the most incredible hotels we have ever stayed at. It was both exceptionally warm and inviting, while also having a feeling of understated luxury through all the interior design, amenities and furnishings. The service was amazing with a wonderful team available at the front desk and through wechat to help with any questions or needs. The owner of the hotel is also around who was so welcoming and invited me to drink tea in the tea room which was a lovely experience.
The breakfast is homemade and cooked to order when you arrive in the dining room, and both the afternoon tea and late-night snack are delicious.
Lastly, location was one of the best parts as it was a 5 minute walk to the West gate of Dali Ancient City, but also nestled within what felt like the local area.

Had a great experience at Nuanqi - first thing that stood out was that concierge was ever attentive, offering free coffee and food recommendations to us when we checked in early. Linking via WeChat was also effective and made communications very easy.
We were given a complimentary upgrade to a really beautiful room on the top floor with full views of both Cang Shan and Erhai lake. Room amenities were of the highest quality, from acqua di parma toiletries, intelligent toilet, bathroom heater, hans grohe fixtures and plush linens and beddings that would rival any international five star hotel chain.
Service continued being great and attentive throughout our stay - we were offered daily afternoon tea and night time dessert that was fresh and delicious.
Of course, not forgetting the original reason we picked the hotel - the aesthetics are on point - conveying quiet understated luxury that put one truly at ease. We cannot recommend this place enough!

This hotel is the most satisfying hotel we stayed in during our two-week trip to Yunnan. Compared with those gorgeous hotels, Nuanqi Hotel provides guests with a warm hospitality, which makes us feel at ease and relaxed throughout the entire trip. My sister had her birthday that month, and they also provided a simple decoration and a delicious cake, giving my sister a wonderful birthday surprise. In addition to providing healthy breakfast, they can also make reservations for afternoon tea and evening desserts. The taste is very delicious, so that guests will not go hungry without leaving the room. It is worth praising that their service is professional and they try their best to meet the requirements of each guest within their ability. Thank them for giving everything. Next time if return to Dali, I will definitely stay in this hotel. It is also worth recommending to people around us.🧡💛🩷

Let you have a home from home stay experience is the best!
