OK for a short stay

My wife and I spent one night in this hotel (also known as the Golden Star Hotel) on a Wendy Wu 'Silk Road Explorer' tour of western China. It was quite clean and comfortable, although the TV was an old cathode ray model with no English language channels. I think we were in one of the cheaper rooms. There is a shopping arcade with a travel agency, but nothing of use to us.

Best Hotel we have stayed in 4 trips to China

We arrived and they got a Chinese girl Nadia who spoke very good english to assist us.
She changed our twin beded room to a room with a King Size bed which was a Suite - (at no extra cost )seperate lounge and massive bedroom and lovely bathroom suite. Everything is so clean - the walls don't have a mark on them,(very unusal in China). Even the hallways are in perfect condition.
The breakfast was very superior to any others we have had.
We were going to stay one night but changed it to two.
Most helpful and would highly recommend this Hotel if coming to Korla.
