Pros: the grounds are stunningly beautiful. The views are incredible of downtown Chongqing. Out suite was large and clean and well appointed. Extremely close to the cable car terminal. Good food walking distance in all directions.
Cons: service was iffy and inconsistent. Food onsite is limited and not very good.
Overall: expensive but worth it if visiting Chongqing.

Incredible. Simply incredible service, worthy of a Parisian palace. Superb location, with incredible views of the Yangtze at night. The hotel restaurant is excellent.
Everything is customised for you, the customer, with customer service over WeChat with a direct link to the staff no matter the hour.
The hotel restaurant has great products at prices that, while expensive in China, are definitely affordable enough for western foreigners.

We chose Manque as the final stop of our 2.5 wk trip in China, starting from Shanghai. Along the way we bought souvenirs and had them shipped to Manque. The staff graciously accepted the deliveries and even paid shipping fee on one of the orders on our behalf. When we arrived all the packages were waiting for us in our room.
Our stay came with a 1-hr photo session and Zixuan photo studio was very accommodating in arranging the time slot. Our photographer Yaoyao took so many nice photos that we had trouble picking out which ones to keep!
One word of caution though, the hotel is situated on top of a hill in a historic park, so be prepared to climb a lot of stairs just to get back to the hotel. But then again, the entire city of Chongqing is full of stairs

This is a beautiful hotel in Chongqing and we had a wonderful time staying here. The property is very new, only 3 months old, but delivers on a premium guest experience. The service was 10/10 with the staff always ready to help to take your stay to the next level. The hotel bar/restaurant offers some of the best views of the city skyline and is conveniently located to tourist destinations. The room was clean and very spacious. Turn down service was a great plus. Highly recommend!

Manque is the historical building that faces towards Changjiang. The amenities & environment are good. Every one of the staff are helpful & polite.
