Wonderful holiday in Sania.
Excellent calm clean hotel . Relaxed in June 2025 everything was wonderful! Rooms are spacious clean,everyday room cleaning,breakfast delicious mango fruit,papaya pineapple,lychee,rambutane,choice worthy of main courses.There was rice porridge that was very important to us! Holidaying with the kids fries was! Which is rare in China for breakfast! The area is not large but very beautiful and cozy people are not in the pools bathed mostly by one super!The beach is two minutes on the territory! The beach is cleaned all the time! Wouldn't people from other coconut bays leave any food waste would be tops at all! The water is warm! Azure by lunchtime! The first couple of days there was a lot of garbage after the last Typhoon the other day ,but the tourists and cleaners themselves constantly cleaned up both from the beach and from the sea garbage and the beach and water became clear. Garbage is always specific to these regions and everywhere! The staff at the hotel are very friendly always ready to help! Don't ask them to carry if they have to and answer questions! Hotel guide Oleg from San Fan is super constantly on the line anytime you need a taxi please where to go what's new please! On the island not the first time in this bay also the second time we rested before at the nearby hotel Inter Conti! All in all was super thanks to China for the warm welcome and wonderful rest once again! Be sure to come back again!!!!

Would need a good refreshment
The hotel is an old Anantara, a guarantee, but obviously the moment of glory is long past and would require a serious refreshment.
The outside walls are damaged and obviously not about to be repaired, the pool bar left abandoned, no bar to have a drink, and the Thai restaurant is closed (supposedly for repair but it doesn’t move much).
The rooms, with their old décor, nevertheless have a certain charm, and the view can be beautiful (if you take the option “sea-view”).
The service of the only restaurant is absolutely terrible; young and untrained staff, if not at all concerned. The breakfast buffet is Ok, but similar to the average of what all other hotels offer. A wide menu for the restaurant but with many dishes that are not available...
A positive for the beautiful pool, with a pool long enough to be able to do lengths. Easy access to the beach with some sundecks for hotel guests, but the water is not nickel.
Very average overall experience, which will not be repeated.

A good place to spend the winter
The hotel has direct access to the best beach section of the bay. Pools between the hotel and the sea invite you to swim and splash. The complex is well maintained with lots of greenery and tall - because already somewhat aged - palm trees. The spacious terraces overlook the sea bay via this pool complex. The hotel itself is well kept in order, but could use a gentle renovation. Asitha and his colleagues are very helpful and provide support for activities in Sanya and the surrounding area. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the on-site restaurant or terrace; the buffet offers a good mix of Chinese and international cuisine. An interesting experience is the Chinese massage (a type of acupressure massage) at the SPA, one of which has been free per booking.

The most disgusting hotel!!!!
The most disgusting hotel imaginable! Old, dirty, unmaintained, with no service at all even at a minimal level! Booked a villa for a week, left in two days!!! If you want to eat from dirty, partially broken dishes at breakfast!!! and with no food, it's here! I won't even write about smoked and dirty rooms... If they offer to stay for free, run!!!! IT'S NOT ANANTARA!!!! This chain of hotels, this lodging, has nothing to do with!!!

Great location. The room, service, massage, breakfast, and scenery were amazing! I recommend staying at Luhuitou Resort.
